Pharmacist/ Procurement Officer at Transwide Pharmaceuticals
Ltd
Duties;
- Serve
as a liaison with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Assist
the branch manager in managing the branch operations.
- Oversee
the procurement and warehousing process to ensure smooth operations,
proper storage, adherence to FIFO, management of expiries, and maintaining
items in excellent condition.
- Receive,
investigate, and respond to all market complaints appropriately.
- Authorize
and maintain records of all credit notes.
- Develop
and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Ensure
compliance with good distribution practices.
- Maintain
all customer documentation records.
- Verify
the quantity and condition of items upon delivery.
- Evaluate
offers from medical representatives.
- Keep
records of purchases, pricing, and other pertinent data.
- Monitor
stock levels and place orders as necessary.
- Review
and negotiate pricing and supply contracts.
- Manage
returns of slow-moving, overstocked, or soon-to-expire products.
- Make
professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Foster
and maintain relationships with medical representatives.
- Ensure
continuous supply of high-quality products and monitor their storage
conditions.
Recruitments;
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Pharmacy.
- At
least 2 years of experience in procurement or a related role.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Knowledge
of Sage ERP is advantageous.
- Excellent
understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
