JOB SUMMARY

Kimisitu Insurance Agency Ltd. is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, meticulous and organized Administrative Assistant to lead the operational and structural workflow of the agency. The successful candidate will act as the backbone of backoffice systems ensuring seamless policy administration, flawless underwriting documentation, accurate client records maintenance, and swift claims coordination. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Policy Administration & Workflow: Formulate, review, and process insuranceapplications, endorsements, and policy documents across multiple product lines to ensure absolute structural alignment.
  • Client Servicing & Account Care: Supervise client portfolios to provide fast, professional clarity regarding premium quotes, coverage provisions, account queries, and renewal structuring.
  • Underwriting Coordination: Act as the principal point of contact with partnering insurance underwriters to ensure efficient risk verification, documentation upload,and timely policy issuance.
  • Claims Management Tracking: Systematically receive insurance claims notices,support clients through documentation compilation, submit claims to underwriters, and actively follow up to ensure prompt settlements.
  • Database Integrity & Reporting: Maintain neat, secure, and accurate digital andphysical client records. Compile and generate systematic periodic production data,performance matrices, and operational capacity reports.
  • Digital Optimization & Customer Tracking: Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media and digital platforms. Monitor online customer engagement, track digital incoming leads, and manage web-based client communication portals.
  • Compliance Controls: Ensure all administration processes align strictly with internal standard operating procedures and legal frameworks stipulated by local insuranceregulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Insurance, ACII or IIK
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in insurance administration, underwriting support, or financial services operations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) alongside practical exposure to digital business platforms, content delivery tracking, and lead management tools.
  • Strong communication, attention to fine detail, and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Job purpose:

The System Administrator and Support Officer– Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including servers and storage systems, planning for and responding to service outages and other problems as well as troubleshooting any issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administering, configuring and troubleshooting servers and ICT systems (Core Banking, HR and Payroll, ATM and Mobile Banking) Server deployments virtualization and storage
  • Experience in user support, i.e., ticket management,
  • Monitoring transaction links and maintaining high Bandwidth, Secure and Redundant links in the Sacco LAN
  • Keeping downtime records, and causes and putting in place measures to prevent them from recurring

Job Purpose

The Networks & Security Officer will be responsible for information security design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the SACCO’s network and telecommunications components, server infrastructure, endpoint devices, and related hardware in line with business requirements and strategic priorities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external penetration tests on SACCO platforms.
  • Innovate and model new red teaming techniques for the security team.
  • Carry out cyber security awareness campaigns for staff and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with information security functions to maintain records of all data assets and exports.
  • Produce accurate, interactive, and digestible information security reports with associated dashboards.
  • Provide weekly research, incident analysis, evaluation, and report production.
  • Participate in 24-hour active monitoring and analysis of SACCO networks through SIEM reporting, including responding to and investigating alerts and documenting investigative activities.
  • Conduct proactive cyber threat research and monitor open-source intelligence sources for potential threats.
  • Analyze network and host-based security appliance logs (Firewalls, IPS, NIDS, HIDS, Sys Logs) and determine corrective or mitigation actions and escalation paths.
  • Follow procedures to report, contain, analyze, and remediate security incidents.
  • Be available on-call to troubleshoot infrastructure changes, security breaches, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Offer first-level ICT user support and administer various SACCO systems.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in system security and administration.
  • Demonstrated competence in Cyber Security through CTFs or recognized learning platforms.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), Security+, Network+, CCNA, SSCP, or related certifications.
  • Technical knowledge of database, network, and operating system security.
  • Knowledge of security methodologies, firewall technologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience using SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, network security managers, firewalls, and endpoint logging tools.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and security applications.
  • Proficiency in tools and languages such as Wireshark, PowerShell, Python, and SQL is highly desirable.

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for notifying members with loans in arrears (substandard, doubtful, and loss categories), following up on repayments, and advising members on appropriate loan repayment modes.

  • Analyze monthly lists of members in arrears based on missed instalments.
  • Communicate to members in arrears informing them of the outstanding amounts.
  • Conduct follow-ups via phone calls and SMS.
  • Work with members to agree on payment plans and send reminders before agreed due dates.
  • Answer queries and provide advisory support to members.
  • Refer restructuring cases to the Credit Officer.
