Job Purpose
The Networks & Security Officer will be responsible for
information security design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of
the SACCO’s network and telecommunications components, server infrastructure,
endpoint devices, and related hardware in line with business requirements and
strategic priorities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct
internal and external penetration tests on SACCO platforms.
- Innovate
and model new red teaming techniques for the security team.
- Carry
out cyber security awareness campaigns for staff and stakeholders.
- Collaborate
with information security functions to maintain records of all data assets
and exports.
- Produce
accurate, interactive, and digestible information security reports with
associated dashboards.
- Provide
weekly research, incident analysis, evaluation, and report production.
- Participate
in 24-hour active monitoring and analysis of SACCO networks through SIEM
reporting, including responding to and investigating alerts and
documenting investigative activities.
- Conduct
proactive cyber threat research and monitor open-source intelligence
sources for potential threats.
- Analyze
network and host-based security appliance logs (Firewalls, IPS, NIDS,
HIDS, Sys Logs) and determine corrective or mitigation actions and
escalation paths.
- Follow
procedures to report, contain, analyze, and remediate security incidents.
- Be
available on-call to troubleshoot infrastructure changes, security
breaches, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Offer
first-level ICT user support and administer various SACCO systems.
- Perform
any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- At
least three (3) years’ experience in system security and administration.
- Demonstrated
competence in Cyber Security through CTFs or recognized learning
platforms.
- Professional
certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Certified SOC Analyst
(CSA), Security+, Network+, CCNA, SSCP, or related certifications.
- Technical
knowledge of database, network, and operating system security.
- Knowledge
of security methodologies, firewall technologies, and intrusion
detection/prevention systems.
- Experience
using SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, network security managers,
firewalls, and endpoint logging tools.
- Strong
understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and security
applications.
- Proficiency
in tools and languages such as Wireshark, PowerShell, Python, and SQL is
highly desirable.
- Strong
written communication skills for incident reporting and documentation.

Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for notifying members with
loans in arrears (substandard, doubtful, and loss categories), following up on
repayments, and advising members on appropriate loan repayment modes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze
monthly lists of members in arrears based on missed instalments.
- Communicate
to members in arrears informing them of the outstanding amounts.
- Conduct
follow-ups via phone calls and SMS.
- Work
with members to agree on payment plans and send reminders before agreed
due dates.
- Answer
queries and provide advisory support to members.
- Refer
restructuring cases to the Credit Officer.
- Prepare
monthly reports including:

Key Responsibilities
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify
new sales prospects and follow up on leads and referrals.
- Conduct
sales activation drives in the assigned region/area.
- Recruit
new members to the Sacco, ensuring compliance with due diligence and KYC
policies.
- Ensure
recruited member accounts are fully funded and active.
- Achieve
sales targets within set periods (daily, weekly, and monthly).
- Support
and participate in sales and marketing events and outreach activities.
- Disseminate
information about savings, loans, and services to Sacco members and
cross-sell products/services.
- Establish
and maintain strong member relationships and drive demand for the Sacco’s
