Pharmaceutical Technologist at Chiromo Hospital Group
CHG is a leading mental health hospital dedicated to
providing evidence based mental health services in Africa and beyond. We are
seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our dynamic
Clinical Services team at Nyali Mombasa. In this role, you will play a crucial
part in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, compounding
preparations, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately
dispense medications and compound preparations according to prescriptions
and established procedures.
- Provide
patient counseling on medication administration and usage.
- Maintain
appropriate stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize
wastage.
- Adhere
to formulary guidelines and collaborate with doctors on medication-related
queries.
- Maintain
accurate records and documentation related to dispensing, compounding, and
inventory.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma
in Pharmacy.
- Valid
Practicing License from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- At
least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team.

Physician
We are seeking a qualified Specialist Physician—ideally in
Internal Medicine or a related field—to work within our psychiatric hospital.
Reporting to Clinical Services Manager and as a member of a multidisciplinary
team, you’ll manage physical health conditions that often present alongside
psychiatric care. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of theatre
experience, adding valuable skills to our integrated clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct
thorough medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for admitted
patients in a psychiatric setting.
- Support
the psychiatric team by managing chronic illnesses, acute medical
conditions, and overseeing perioperative care.
- Initiate
and follow up on sonography and other diagnostic imaging referrals,
integrating results into patient care.
- Participate
actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing medical
insights to psychiatric treatment strategies.
- Maintain
accurate medical documentation aligned with clinical guidelines and
regulatory standards.
- Respond
to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patients within the
facility.
- Collaborate
in developing and updating clinical protocols tailored to the psychiatric
environment.
- Provide
patient education and engage with families or caregivers on health-related
matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor
of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB or equivalent) from a
recognized institution.
- Full
registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
(KMPDC).
- Completion
of internship and 6–12 months post-internship experience including theatre
exposure.
- Postgraduate
training or specialist status in Internal Medicine, or equivalent
recognized by KMPDC.
- Clinical
competence, strong judgment, and professionalism.
- Strong
communication, teamwork, and empathetic patient-centered care approach.
- Candidates
with 6 months to 1 year of theatre experience will have an added
advantage.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven
Internal Auditor to join our organization. The Internal Auditor will be
responsible for evaluating internal controls, compliance with laws and
regulations, risk management practices, and the efficiency of operations. The
ideal candidate will have experience in conducting audits, developing audit
plans, and making actionable recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and implement internal audit plans and programs.
- Conduct
risk-based audits covering operational, financial, and compliance areas.
- Evaluate
the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
- Review
financial records, processes, and procedures for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare
audit reports with findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow
up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
- Identify
and assess areas of significant business risk.
- Ensure
compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist
external auditors as required during their annual audits.
- Provide
support and advice to management on risk management and internal control

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA
(K), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- At
least 2 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
- Proficiency
in audit tools and financial reporting systems.
- Knowledge
of Kenyan financial regulations, tax laws, and standards.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High
level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Excellent
report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability
to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
- Attention
to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
