About The Job
We are seeking a self-driven, creative, and enthusiastic
Marketing & Business Development Intern to support our growth initiatives
across the company and its subsidiary entities. The intern will assist in the
execution of marketing strategies, lead generation, client engagement, brand
positioning, and market research.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist
in planning, creating, and scheduling digital content for social media
platforms, newsletters, and websites.
- Contribute
to content writing for blogs, email marketing, and product collateral.
- Support
in the development and implementation of online and offline marketing
campaigns.
- Assist
in designing marketing materials including brochures, posters,
presentations, and case studies.
- Monitor
and report on marketing campaign performance (social media engagement,
website traffic, email open rates, etc.).
- Conduct
research to identify potential clients, partnerships, and new market
opportunities.
- Assist
in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and business presentations.
- Maintain
and update the customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Support
in organizing and participating in webinars, exhibitions, and industry
networking events.
- Assist
in following up with leads and clients to support conversion and
relationship management.
- Analyze
industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support
market positioning.
- Collect,
analyze, and present data for business development reporting and strategy
sessions.
- Participate
in internal brainstorming sessions to improve marketing and sales
performance.
Key Qualifications & Competencies:
- At least a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fair knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, Metricool, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
- Graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools like Canva.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be honest and of high integrity.
- Must be willing to work under pressure and with minimal or no supervision.
- Must be residing or willing to relocate to Nairobi.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy with a keen interest in IT, financial inclusion, and innovation trends.
Accounting & Bookkeeping Intern

About The Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounting
& Bookkeeping Intern to assist in managing financial records, preparing
reports, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate
is eager to learn and contribute to maintaining sound financial management
practices across Intrasoft and its subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist
in processing and recording financial transactions including invoices,
receipts, and payments.
- Prepare
journal entries and post to accounting systems.
- Support
bank reconciliations and reconciliation of ledger accounts (e.g.,
payables, receivables, petty cash).
- Help
in maintaining up-to-date financial records, files, and documentation in
compliance with audit and data privacy standards.
- Assist
in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support
the preparation of management reports including cash flow summaries,
expense reports, and budget tracking.
- Collect
and compile financial data from various departments and subsidiaries.
- Enter
transactions into our accounting systems.
- Maintain
organized records of supplier invoices, receipts, LPOs, delivery notes,
and contracts.
- Support
internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and
responding to audit queries.
- Assist
with VAT returns, withholding tax computations, and other statutory
filings in Kenya.
- Ensure
compliance with financial policies and procedures across Intrasoft and its
subsidiaries.
- Maintain
confidentiality of all financial and employee-related information.
Key Qualifications & Competencies:
- At least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Those completed CPA Part I or higher will have added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and Kenyan tax regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Must be honest and of high integrity able to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be residing or willing to relocate to Nairobi.
- Ability to work independently with or without supervision.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
