Role Summary
The Junior Accountant will provide
essential support in day-to-day financial operations, accurate record keeping,
statutory compliance, and reporting. This is a hands-on role suited for someone
organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a structured and fast-paced
environment.
You will work closely with the Senior Accountant while
collaborating with procurement, HR, QS, stores, and operations teams to ensure
smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities Financial Operations
& Record Keeping
- Process
daily financial transactions and update the General Ledger.
- Maintain
accurate books of accounts and ensure proper filing of supporting
documents.
- Perform
bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and basic journal entries.
- Support
the month-end and year-end closing process.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Record
supplier invoices, match them to LPOs/GRNs, and support payment
processing.
- Update
customer receipts and assist with basic debtors’ follow-up.
- Support
regular reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts.
Statutory Compliance & Payroll Support
- Assist
in preparing statutory returns (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, VAT, WHT).
- Support
the monthly payroll process by preparing schedules and verifying
information.
- Maintain
proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Reporting & Analysis
- Assist
in preparing basic financial reports such as sales summaries, petty cash
statements, and expense analysis.
- Support
the Senior Accountant in preparing management accounts and budget
comparisons.
- Help
generate visual dashboards using Excel (Pivot Tables & Lookups).
Cash & Resource Control
- Manage
petty cash under supervision and maintain proper accountability.
- Support
safe handling, filing, and tracking of financial documents, receipts, and
vouchers.
- Work
closely with the stores team to support stock valuation, documentation,
and verification.
Requirements Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field OR CPA
Section 4 and above (mandatory).
- Additional
Excel or accounting software training is an added advantage.
Experience
- 4
years of experience in a busy accounting environment (internships
included).
- Experience
in construction, manufacturing, or project-based operations is a plus.

Classic Mouldings showroom. The role combines design advisory, technical
support, and active selling of premium wall finishes, mouldings, and
architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales
- Attend
to walk-in and appointment-based showroom clients
- Understand
client needs, budgets, and design preferences
- Recommend
suitable finishes, mouldings, and decorative solutions

sell products and close sales

Design & Technical Support

managing incoming goods, issuing materials, and assisting with inventory
management.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive,
inspect, and verify all incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase
orders.

closely with Procurement, Finance, and Production teams to ensure material
availability.
- Assist

Requirements Education & Certification
