seeking to recruit a highly organized and professional Assistant Office
Administrator III to join its Main Office team.
Position Summary
The Assistant Office Administrator III reports to the School
Main Office and works closely with staff, parents, guardians, and learners by
providing information and administrative support when required.
This is a highly visible and confidential administrative
role supporting the school’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking
oral dictation
- Word
and data processing
- Managing
e-office systems
- Ensuring
security of office records, documents, and equipment
- Maintaining
an up-to-date filing system
- Operating
office equipment
- Managing
office protocol
- Handling
petty cash
- Managing
telephone calls and appointments
- Supervising
office cleanliness
- Performing
any other assigned administrative duties
Requirements for Appointment
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Kenya
Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade of C– (minus)
and at least C (plain) in English or Kiswahili
AND
- Diploma
in Secretarial Studies from KNEC
OR
Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES &
GC) from KNEC in the following subjects:
- Typewriting
III (50 w.p.m.) / Computerised Document Processing III
- Shorthand
II (80 w.p.m.)
- Business
English II / Communications I
- Office
Practice II
- Secretarial
Duties II
- Commerce

- Office
Management III / Office Administration and Management III
- Certificate
in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated
