QUANTITY SURVEYOR INTERN

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction and interior projects.
  • Measure quantities from drawings and site visits to support BOQ preparation.
  • Help gather supplier quotes and compare prices for materials and services.
  • Track project expenses and assist in preparing cost reports and variation claims.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and collect data for reporting.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, drawings, and project documents.
  • Assist in coordinating with clients, designers, and project teams to align costs and designs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and interior design materials.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and plans.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and basic measurement or drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment.

Interior Design Intern at Orient Construction and Interiors

INTERN INTERIOR DESIGNER

Are you a fresh Interior Design graduate looking to grow your skills through hands-on experience?

If you dream in floor plans. breathe in textures, and love bringing spaces to life with effortless creativity, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers in developing design concepts, layouts, and mood boar
  • Conduct site visits to take measurements, photos, and document progress.
  • Source materials, fabrics, finishes, and furniture from suppliers.
  • Prepare 2D drawings, 3D renders, and visualizations as required.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and research current design trends
  • Support with client presentations and design proposals.
  • Maintain project files, design libraries, and sample collections.

Qualifications

  • Recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or Adobe Suite.
  • Strong eye for detail, creativity, and understanding of color, space, and materials.
  • Good communication and presentation skills able to express design ideas clearly.
  • Basic knowledge of furniture, finishes, lighting, and decor trends. Eagerness to learn, take feedback positively, and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, reliable, and committed to deadlines.
