Job Objective:
To provide overall legal expertise and support on legal
issues relating to the functions, structures and activities of the
organisation, support management on issues pertaining to the legal framework

WIOCC Group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support
Regulatory and Strategic affairs contract function in reviewing and
advising on the day-to-day regulatory and contracting requirements
- Support
in the implementation of the various standard and non-standard forms of
contracts in accordance with the set contracting policies
- Negotiate
with external parties and assist with the finalisation and execution of
provisioning contracts relating to all areas of the business
- Monitor
and track regulatory obligations across all operating jurisdictions,
including licence conditions, reporting requirements, renewal timelines
and statutory filings and advise internal stakeholders on compliance risks
arising from new products, cross-border services, infrastructure
deployments and market entry initiatives

and advise on any business development initiatives, e.g., partnerships,
potential network acquisition projects and corporate/asset acquisition
projects; preparation and negotiation of all documentation relating to
cable investment projects

Minimum Qualifications
- Degree
in Law within a common law jurisdiction
- Post-graduate
diploma in Law or in any other field
- At
least 6 years’ experience in an in-house capacity or in practice

Job Objective:
Establish, lead and operationalise the Software Quality
Assurance (SQA) function within a telecommunications software development
environment by designing test strategies, implementing quality governance
frameworks and executing comprehensive manual and automated testing to ensure
systems are reliable, scalable, secure and aligned to business and network
operational requirements.
Reporting Line: IT Development Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Quality Strategy and Governance
- Establish
and institutionalize the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) framework,
policies, standards, templates and governance structures
- Define
and implement end-to-end testing processes aligned to SDLC practices in a
hybrid (non-fully Agile) development environment
- Develop
and maintain test strategies, quality gates, test readiness criteria and
release quality benchmarks

reusable testing templates, documentation standards, defect workflows and

2. Test Planning and Execution

Legal Specialist – Nairobi, Kenya

Job Objective
The Legal Specialist will support the Legal Department to
ensure robust legal risk management across commercial transactions and
regulatory compliance processes. The role is focused on contract review and
negotiation, compliance monitoring (including anti-bribery, anti-corruption,
AML, KYC/S and data protection) and supporting key departments such as
procurement and sales. The role will work closely with the Manager, Legal
Operations, internal stakeholders and external parties to uphold legal and
ethical standards in all business operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support
in developing, implementing and monitoring the company’s compliance
policies, procedures and frameworks in line with applicable laws, telecom
regulations, and industry best practices
- Support
initiatives related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-money
laundering, data protection (including GDPR and local data laws) and
cybersecurity compliance
- Review,
draft and support the negotiation of a broad range of commercial
contracts, including vendor agreements, service level agreements, clients
contracts, NDAs and licensing arrangements. Ensure that all contracts
align with internal policies, risk frameworks, and applicable legal and
regulatory standards
- Support
the Procurement team by reviewing supplier agreements, RFIs, and RFPs to
ensure compliance with procurement policies. Assist the Sales and
Commercial teams in structuring customer agreements and navigating legal
risks in business development initiatives
- Perform
legal and regulatory compliance assessments for new partnerships, product
offerings and business transactions. Monitor and analyse legislative and

the implementation and monitoring of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know
Your Supplier (KYS) due diligence processes in line with internal
protocols and applicable laws. Assist in the periodic review and updating

requirements
- Prepare
and maintain compliance documentation to support internal and external
audits as well as regulatory inspections. Assist in identifying gaps in

- Support

approvals, execution, renewals and archiving. Maintain accurate records of
