We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales
& Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team and help drive growth
as we expand our footprint across Kenya and the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase
revenue and market share.
- Identify,
prospect, and pursue new business opportunities, clients, and strategic
partnerships.
- Promote
Agoventures’ products and services through innovative campaigns,
activations, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Manage
and grow the company’s digital presence, including social media platforms,
online ads, and e-commerce opportunities.
- Maintain
strong relationships with existing clients through exceptional customer
service and follow-ups.
- Conduct
in-depth market research to understand customer needs, trends, and
competitive positioning.
- Organize
and participate in agricultural fairs, exhibitions, and product
demonstrations to enhance brand visibility.
- Prepare
accurate sales forecasts, proposals, and quotations, and present regular
sales reports to management.
- Work
closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless
delivery of products and services.
- Provide
feedback to management on customer requirements, product improvements, and
market opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma
or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Agribusiness, or related field.
- Minimum
of 3 years’ proven experience in sales/marketing
(experience in agribusiness is a strong advantage).
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and
online sales tools.
- Ability
to prepare clear proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Self-motivated,
target-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal
supervision.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A
valid driving license will be an added advantage.
- Willingness
to travel across different regions as required.
