FCm Travel Solutions – Kenya (trading as Charleston Travel
Ltd) is seeking to hire an experienced and competent Travel Consultant within
the Operations department. You will need to be detail-oriented,
customer-focused and a professional. In this role, you’ll handle client
enquiries, create tailored travel packages, and manage bookings across flights,
hotels, transfers, and other services. Adherence to the set SLAs will guide
your tasks as you work towards the delivery of excellent service at all times.
You’ll also advise clients on travel documentation, issue tickets, and
ensure timely invoicing and communication
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Respond
to client enquiries and convert them into bookings
- Book
flights, accommodation, transfers, and other travel services
- Advise
on visa, health, and travel requirements
- Issue
tickets accurately using GDS (Amadeus, or Galileo)
- Keep
client records updated and monitor bookings for changes
- Send
timely invoices and report
What you should have:
- Excellent
communication and customer service skill
- Strong
attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Certification
in IATA courses is a MUST
- Practical
experience with GDS systems
- At
least 3 years in a similar travel role
