Main Responsibilities
- Ensure
availability and reliability of the Hardware, CCTV, printers & UPS
systems within HQ, commissary/branches
- Support
operations of all Commissary Systems, Commissary Network/Internet, and
connectivity from commissary to the branches.
- Provide
end user support, which involves sorting out computer hardware, software
and network problems.
- Corrective
and preventive maintenance on workstations and other IT equipment.
- Desktop
hardware upgrade planning and participation in new store projects/ systems
rollouts.
- Maintain
an inventory of I.T. equipment under one’s jurisdiction.
- Network
support in the form of installation and customization of network
equipment.
- Perform
network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common Printer &
cabling problems
- Provide
regular reports on various key aspects of application, network &
system availability.
- Provide
and schedule hardware maintenance plans for computers, peripherals &
printers and provide Hardware support of cabling on day-to-day
administration.
- Troubleshoot
Cabling issues and provide regular reports & statistics of branch
requirements /needs.
- Ensure
that all calls/incidents logged into Helpdesk are addressed within agreed
on SLA response time.
- To
perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head of department.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- B.Sc./Diploma
in Electronics/ Computer Science or other Computer related field from a
recognized University
- Possess
A+, N+ OR MCT/MCITP certification
- Hardware
and Software troubleshooting skills.
Electrical Technician II at Java House
Primary Purpose and Scope the Job (Job Role)
The electrical technician (Grade 2) is responsible for
technical inspection, repair and servicing of machines, equipment and fixtures
in the locations assigned to him/her within the Java organization.
Main Responsibilities: -
- Carry
out preventive and reactive maintenance of electrical lighting and wiring
systems and electrical equipment in Java locations assigned, as indicated
in the “Core Competencies” section below, in order to ensure such
equipment is functional and safe for use by operators when required.
- Carry
out inspections of electrical lighting and wiring systems and electrical
equipment in order to ascertain if they are functional and safe for use.
- Carry
out basic plumbing, masonry and carpentry repairs in Java locations
assigned.
- Carry
out maintenance-related activities that affect food safety in assigned
locations in order to eliminate food safety hazards.
- Record
activities carried out in required formats for future reference.
Qualifications
- Diploma
in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution of
tertiary education.
Experience
At least 3 years’ practical experience as an electrical
maintenance technician.

to work in night shifts for up to 20% of time on duty
Core Competencies
- Proficient

single- and three-phase wiring, lighting and socket circuits

Primary Purpose and Scope the Job
The role is responsible for developing and implementing
Talent Management strategies within the organization that enhance the
identification, development and retention of high performing
employees through corporate-wide professional and technical development,
learning strategies, planning and execution of the strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create
overall talent strategy and roadmap to deliver on a robust learning and
development agenda that is aligned with business strategy and needs.
- Design
and manage multiple programs, processes and systems that enhance
organizational effectiveness including talent reviews, succession
planning, mentoring, coaching and internal mobility.
- Maintain
a robust orientation module to include job specific, organization culture
and personal development training.

Experience

large organization. Preferably in the hospitality industry
- At
least 2 years of Demonstrated ability and experience in managing large
learning curriculum, including learning contracts, class schedules,
enrollment, and vendor management
- Strong
knowledge and experience in developing and designing of succession

Storekeeper
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains
the inventory at the specialized work area in order to support warehouse,
manufacturing and retail activities by ensuring visibility of inventory
status to the warehouse team.
- Monitors
stocks, reorders and receives inventory at the warehouse store and ensures
they are of the correct specification, in order to ensure availability of
inventory.
- Inspect
deliveries by checking of quantity and quality of items brought in by the
supplier for conformity or discrepancies and report / documentation for a
seamless return process.
- Putting
stock away in accordance with the Company’s Quality procedures (stock
rotation)
- Rotate
stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses within the warehouse.
- Ensure
adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper
stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Organizes
and maintains the inventory floor area to ensure efficient material
storage and handling. He also maintains labeling systems on the stock
items.
- Restocking
of items on the shelves and organization / general arrangement of the
store’s items.
- Pick,
pack and marshalling of customers’ orders for delivery to National
Distribution Centre.
- Participation
in monthly stock take process and performing inventory audits at all
warehouses, as required.
- Identification
of non-performing stocks for an effective utilization plan.

and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to
assigned inventory location.

the expiry of goods by ensuring FIFO and FEFO is adhered to 100%

- Presenting
a variety of menu options and take lead on suggestive selling based on
customer preferences.
- Handling
customer interactions at various levels of customer touch points.
- Assist
the guest navigate through the menu comfortably- Inform guests of menu
changes, daily specials and assist the guest navigate through the menu

- Taking
orders and delivering them to the table neatly and accurately in
accordance to the ticket specification.
- Present
menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and
other restaurant functions and services.

and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with
