Role Overview
The Finance Systems Business Analyst will act as the bridge
between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring that financial systems
meet the needs of the insurance business. The role involves gathering
requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting system enhancements to
improve efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements
Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate
with finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into
system requirements.
- Document
functional specifications for finance-related processes (general ledger,
accounts payable/receivable, claims accounting, premium processing,
etc.).
- System
Implementation & Support
- Support
implementation, upgrades, and integrations of finance systems (ERP,
insurance accounting platforms, reporting tools).
- Conduct
system testing (UAT, regression, integration) and validate outputs
against business requirements.
- Provide
ongoing support for finance systems, troubleshooting issues, and liaising
with IT/vendors.
- Process
Improvement
- Identify
opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance automation.
- Ensure
compliance with insurance regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Stakeholder
Management
- Act
as the liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors.
- Communicate
technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Data
& Reporting
- Support
finance teams in producing accurate financial and regulatory reports.
- Ensure
data integrity across finance systems and reporting platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or related field.
- Professional
qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong
knowledge of insurance finance processes (claims, premiums, reinsurance,
IFRS 17).
- Experience
with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) or insurance-specific finance
platforms.
- Proficiency
in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability
to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.

Sales Representative Intern
Intern – Growth and Acquisition
Reporting to: Head of Growth and Acquisition
Job Overview:
The Intern – Growth and Acquisition will support the team in
acquiring new agents, driving sales efforts, and managing agent accounts. This
role provides a hands-on opportunity to learn about customer acquisition, sales
strategies, and account management in the insurance industry. The intern will
contribute to the team’s efforts to expand Agencify’s footprint while ensuring
exceptional agent satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisition
- Assist
in identifying and researching potential agent leads using various tools
and platforms.
- Support
the on-boarding process for new agents by coordinating documentation,
setting up accounts, and scheduling training sessions.
- Help
automate parts of the agent application and verification process to ensure
efficiency.
- Gather
feedback from new agents on the on-boarding process to identify areas for
improvement.
- Collaborate
with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that attract new
agents to the platform.
Sales
- Assist
in preparing sales presentations and pitches for prospective agents.
- Support
the sales team in following up with leads and tracking their progress
through the sales funnel.
- Contribute
to the development of promotional materials for new product categories.
- Monitor
competitor activities and trends to identify opportunities for
differentiation.
- Help
organize and participate in agent recruitment events, webinars, and
workshops.
Account Management
- Act as
a point of contact for newly on boarded agents, addressing their initial
questions or concerns.
- Track
and analyze agent activity and platform usage to identify engagement
patterns.
- Assist
in implementing strategies to improve agent retention and satisfaction.
- Support
the creation of agent feedback loops by collecting input and sharing
insights with relevant teams.
- Work
with the product team to propose solutions to recurring agent issues.
Qualifications:
- A
degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive,
organised, and eager to learn.
- Basic
understanding of sales and marketing principles is an advantage.
- Familiarity
with CRM software or data analysis tools is a plus.
