Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, Social Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
 
At least 7 years of progressive experience in managing complex, multi-sector, donor-funded projects.
 
Proven expertise in project design, budgeting, reporting, and proposal writing.
 
Excellent command of English (spoken & written); knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.

Head of Media (Valley Road) at Christ Is the Answer Ministries

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic & spiritual leadership
  • Lead the execution of Hope Media’s vision, mission, and strategic direction in line with CITAM’s overall mandate.
  • Build, empower, and hold accountable a high-performing team.
  • Maintain alignment with CITAM’s doctrinal values and governance structures.
  • Organizational culture and Ministry focus
  • Foster a Christ-centered organizational culture grounded in excellence, integrity, and innovation.
  • Proactively and innovatively position Hope Media to propagate the gospel by leveraging contemporary and emerging platforms and technologies.
  • Operational Oversight
  • Provide visionary oversight across all operational and content areas such as editorial, production, revenue, technology, and administration.
  • Drive organizational learning, agility, and responsiveness to cultural, technological, and ministry shifts.
  • Resource Mobilization & Financial sustainability
  • Ensure the financial sustainability and operational effectiveness of the organization through robust systems and controls.
  • Lead resource mobilization strategies including fundraising, partnerships, and business development.
  • Stakeholder & Regulatory Relations
  • Cultivate and manage key relationships with the CITAM leadership, regulatory bodies, partners, donors, and industry peers
  • Monitoring & reporting
  • Report regularly to the Leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities within the media landscape.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a born-Again Christian who conforms to CITAM Statement of Faith.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, Media, Business, Theology, or related field.
  • A master’s degree in leadership will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 13 years of similar work experience, at least 7 in a senior management role.
  • Proven ability to lead a parachurch organization.

Social Action and Advocacy Projects Coordinator at Christ Is the Answer Ministries

  • ITAM Seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of a Social Action & Advocacy (SAA) Projects Coordinator. The successful candidate will oversee the design, implementation, monitoring, and successful delivery of donor-funded development and humanitarian initiatives. This role demands strategic leadership in project management, proposal development, budgeting, compliance, stakeholder coordination, and integrating faith-based approaches into development work. The position holder will be responsible for ensuring that all projects align with donor requirements, uphold the organization’s faith-based values, and adhere to best practices in humanitarian and development programming.
  • The position reports to the Head of Social Action and Advocacy.

Key duties and responsibilities:   

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of donor-funded development and humanitarian projects.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial tracking, and ensure compliance with donor guidelines.
  • Develop and manage monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems.
  • Prepare high-quality narrative and financial reports for donors and stakeholders.
  • Identify funding opportunities, mobilise resources and lead proposal development while ensuring donor compliance and alignment with the Ministry’s mission and priorities.
  • Represent the organization in relevant forums and build strong partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects integrate faith-based values and uphold organizational policies and safeguarding standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and safeguarding standards, while proactively managing risks through regular updates to the risk register and mitigation measures.

Requirements

  • Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field a Masters in any of the field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in managing complex, multi-sector donor-funded projects.
  • Proven experience in project design, budgeting, reporting, and proposal writing.
  • Strong familiarity with donor requirements, grants management systems, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working with or within faith-based organizations is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of local languages is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and budgeting software’s.

CITAM seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of a Legal Assistant, to support our Legal Audit, Compliance, and Risk functions, and to play a key role in the establishment and management of CITAM Foundation. The role also includes providing support in ConveyancingIntellectual Property (IP), and Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) legal matters. Their responsibility will be to provide comprehensive legal support to ensure that CITAM operates in compliance with all applicable laws in all its spheres of influence.

The position reports to the in-house Legal Counsel.
