JOB SUMMARY:

Key Job Accountabilities: 

  • Provide first- and second-level ICT support to broadcast and corporate users. 
  • Manage and maintain broadcast systems, including playout servers, automation systems, video servers, and content management systems.

  • Administer and maintain network infrastructure supporting broadcast operations (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Research Officer will be based in Nairobi at KRCS and is responsible for the design and technical support of the research agenda of the Hub, in coordination with the Hub Program Manager.

The Research Officer will support the Program Manager in coordination and maintaining relationships with Red Cross and Red Crescent actors across the region and with migration-related research and academic institutions.

The Research Officer reports to the Hub Program Manager who is also based in Nairobi at Kenya Red Cross Society.   

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate  on Africa Migration Research Hub (‘Hub’) knowledge creation, including research design and ethics
  • Coordinate  on the design and analysis stages of research projects, including Humanitarian Service Point Impact Studies
