Job Purpose: 

The Enrolments Officer is a high-impact, target-driven sales professional responsible for converting prospective families into enrolled students. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and customer experience—owning the full admissions funnel from lead engagement to successful enrolment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead Conversion & Sales Execution

  • Proactively engage and convert prospective families through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person interactions.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of leads from enquiry to enrolment.
  • Conduct persuasive, insight-led conversations that position Makini’s value proposition effectively
    Achieve and exceed monthly and termly enrolment targets.
  • Apply structured follow-ups (minimum 5 touchpoints per lead) to maximise conversion rates.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Deliver a premium, personalised experience to every prospective parent and student.
  • Build trust through professional, timely, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Handle objections confidently, addressing concerns around curriculum, fees, and transition pathways.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with families to ensure high conversion and retention.

School Tours & Engagement Activities

  • Conduct compelling school tours that bring the Makini experience to life.
  • Represent the school at Open Days, exhibitions, and recruitment events.
  • Support execution of admissions events and community outreach initiatives.

Pipeline & Data Management.

  • Accurately capture and manage all leads within the school CRM (SIMS).
  • Track daily activity metrics (calls, follow-ups, conversions).
  • Maintain a clean, updated pipeline with clear status tracking.
  • Generate insights and feedback from prospective families to inform marketing strategy.

Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop

  • Provide on-the-ground insights on competitor activity, parent concerns, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging based on real customer interactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion through better positioning and communication.

Education & Work Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in a sales-driven role, preferably in:
    • School admissions or School marketer.
    • Financial services, Insuarance, real estate, hospitality, or other high-touch sales environments.

Finance Manager

JOB PURPOSE 

Coordinate all matters relating to finance, accounting, tax reporting, budgeting and forecasting (and other related matters) ensuring that they are handled effectively, efficiently and reported timely and in an user and client friendly manner, with appropriate controls to prevent fraud, theft or financial error.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOBS 

  • Compile the company’s annual budget and any revised forecasts or budgets (both Excel and Falcon templates).
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, with actuals vs budget variance analysis and performance commentary (both Excel and Falcon templates)
  • Analyse financial performance, perform cost saving analysis and present insights to senior management.
  • Monitor budget performance and investigate variances
  • Compile other monthly management reports for schools and departments, both regular and on ad hoc requests.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure that accounting transactions are processed timeously and accurately in Sage, and in accordance with the month end reporting timetable.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
  • Oversee banking relationships, loan facilities, and investments.
  • Assist with setting up users and maintenance of signatories
  • Maintain and reconcile all shareholder and bank loans and other group loans and current accounts.
  • Project manage and plan new systems and processes in accounting systems SAGE.
  • Act as Sage super user/administrator and training coordinator.
  • Maintain Sage general ledger structure and chart of accounts.
  • Reconcile all general ledger balance sheet accounts and coordinate the preparation of all month end reconciliations and schedules.
