Our Engineering Department is seeking a
highly skilled professional who can join our team in the role of Technical
Supervisor.
JOB PURPOSE
To supervise all engineering tasks assigned to technicians
by ensuring that works are carried out to the required standard and in a timely
manner.
To ensure that preventive maintenance schedule is adhered to
and that proper records of tasks carried out are kept both in the OB and
maintenance board.
To ensure that technicians carry out their tasks in the most
secure manner with no incidents/accidents and in a safety environment. This is
not limited to proper LOTO system.
MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain
an in-depth knowledge of the condition of the plant equipment on a
continuous basis. Carry out specific inspections (Basic vibration
analysis, noise, temperature, and other electrical & mechanical
measurements).
- Preparation
of daily work schedule for PM tasks in accordance with equipment needs
while utilizing Ms Excel document and monitor equipment history files.
- Counter
check parameter settings for all the critical equipment and new
installations e.g. Alarm levels.
- Performs
on call duties for Electrical & Mechanical works.
- Any
other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must
have a Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or
Mechanical Engineering.
- Must
have KCSE grade C+ and above;
- Knowledge
in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and
installations in a factory.
- Competent
in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
- Must
have minimum 3 years’ work experience in a dairy industry.
Depot Assistant at Kinangop Dairy Limited

department is seeking a highly skilled professional who can join our team in
the role of Depot Assistant
Job Purpose
To support depot efficiency by ensuring compliance with
company policies, regulatory standards and operational best practices while
providing oversight in reporting, audits, and customer service management.
MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: –
Order & Sales Management
- Receive,
authorize, and process sales orders and invoices.
- Reconcile
salesmen’s accounts (cash and stock) and confirm payments.
- Collect
cheques, manage direct cash sales, and ensure proper allocation of
payments.
Stock & Inventory Control
- Ensure
accurate stock records in both physical and system (Syspro) dashboards.
- Follow
FIFO dispatch, manage returns/disposals, and prevent stock losses.
- Oversee
fuel and mileage records for depot trucks.
Financial Administration
- Handle
petty cash payments and balances.
- Verify
invoice accuracy before posting.
- Prepare
and dispatch customer statements, monitor debt ageing, and support credit
control.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare
weekly and monthly depot activity reports.
- Generate
administrative and cost-control reports.
- Verify
contracts, key account documents, and maintain compliance records.
Depot Operations & Staff Management
- Deputize
for the Depot Administrator and oversee depot staff, drivers, and
salesmen.
- Maintain
depot cleanliness, orderliness, and operational discipline.
- Handle
any additional assignments as directed by the Depot Administrator.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must
be a graduate in Business Studies or Accounting.;
- Must
possess at least Part 2 of a professional accounting qualification; CPA
(K) or ACCA will be an advantage;
- Must
have KCSE grade C+ and above;
- Computer
literate with strong competence in MS office package to include Excel,
access and power point;
- Experience
with the accounting packages and ERP’s to include QuickBooks, Sage, or
Syspro, knowledge of Syspro will be an advantage;
- Effective
and impactful communication, good negotiation, problem solving and
presentation skills; and
- Must
have minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse management/inventory
management

our team in the role of Quality Control Assistant.
Job Purpose
To ensure our products meet quality standards by inspecting,
testing and documenting findings.
Main Responsibilities
- Inspecting
Materials & Products: Conduct routine inspections of incoming
materials and in process production to ensure adherence to company
standards and regulatory guidelines;
- Testing:
Perform functional/processing suitability testing on products and
ingredients; and
- Documentation
& Reporting: Meticulously record inspection results and
non-conformances, creating reports that support quality audits,
traceability, and corrective actions
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology or Microbiology
with at least one-year experience in quality control strongly preferred,
OR
- A
Diploma in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology with at least 2
years’ experience in quality control strongly preferred.
- Excellent
verbal/written communication skills;
- Ability
to thrive working collaboratively with senior colleagues, solve problems
independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess
a strong work ethic, ability to work in teams and implement and test
solutions.
- Knowledge
of the HACCP approach or other management systems relevant to a food
industry.

our team in the role of Quality Assurance Supervisor.
MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: –
- Assist
the day to day operations of a team of Quality staffs to ensure compliance
to company and national standards.
- To aid
in continuously developing the sites quality systems to meet the
requirements of our customers, the company and regulatory bodies.
- To
undertake troubleshooting activities on products / factory areas.
- Aid in
the development of QA standards and conducting inspections.
- Provide
advice and guidance when quality standards fall and make decisions on
disposal or re- work as necessary. Conduct an investigation to obtain all
details prior to approving concession.
- To be
aware of any new / updated procedures and to ensure they are communicated
to the relevant personnel.
- To
ensure that the traceability of all products and components are accurately
recorded and challenged.
- Work
with operations, maintenance, and management to resolve quality concerns
and implement best practices.
- Lead
quality improvement projects, conduct internal audits, and provide
recommendations for efficiency.
- Ensure
the HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000 systems are being followed throughout the
site and personnel are well trained.
- To
carry out any other mutually agreed duties outside the scope outlined
above, as requested by the Quality Assurance Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must
have a Degree or diploma in Dairy Technology, Food science and Food
Technology.
- Must
have KCSE grade C+ and above;
- Excellent
leadership, communication and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong
knowledge of food safety, quality control, GMP, HACCP.
- Attention
to details.
- Should
be a team player and be able to interact with other staff of all levels.
- Computer

Milk Procurement Supervisor at Kinangop Dairy Limited
We are looking for a highly skilled professional individual
who can join us in our Milk Procurement Department as a Milk Procurement
Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise
Invoicing and receipting milk data
- Assist
in sourcing of high quality raw milk
- Management
of cooling hubs and centers
- Preparing
weekly/daily reports
- Supervise
raw milk issuing
- Supervise
and check final payments for farmers and all suppliers
- Supervise
and check final payment for transporters
- Recruiting
new farmers /suppliers and issuing contracts
- Reconciliation
for final payments
- preparing
farmers’ statements after every payment
- Making
sure at the end of the month all data for suppliers is receipted,
reconciled and invoiced to avoid difference in kardex and raw milk
platform
- monitoring
transporters & graders deficits and rejects
- Doing
follow up for milk procurement department and liaising with other
department to ensure smooth working environment between them
- Supervising
preparation of tankers report and processing their payments
- Supervising
tankers fueling and preparation of fuel reports
- Supervising
data clerks, Milk graders and Hub graders
- Approvals
for requisite items in the department, counter checking and signing
payments documents
- Respond
to supplier’s/farmers claims
- Planning
and co-ordination of raw milk collection from hubs and routes
- Principal
assistant to the milk procurement manager
- Any
other duties assigned by your supervisor
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology with at least
two-year experience in Milk procurement control strongly preferred, OR,
- A
diploma in Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology with at least 3
years’ experience in Milk procurement control strongly preferred
- Excellent
