Internal Auditor at Bidco Africa

Job Description

Bidco Africa are looking for an experienced audit professional with strong manufacturing process knowledge, SAP proficiency, and the ability to responsibly leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) qualification is mandatory.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in internal audit, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly inventory management, production planning, material balancing.
• Experience in auditing procurement, production, warehouse, inventory, finance, and sales processes.
• Proficiency in SAP, with the ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data.
• Experience in conducting risk-based audits and preparing comprehensive audit reports.
• Responsibly leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP queries, CAATs, Copilot) to analyze large datasets and identify exceptions, while independently validating outputs before reporting.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small audit team, with strong stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.

Job Summary

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for implementing trade execution strategies to ensure product availability, visibility, and growth in market share within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to achieve volume growth and increase market share.
• Ensure products are available, well-stocked, and correctly displayed in retail outlets.
• Drive secondary sales plans through teams to enhance product movement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
• Implement promotional, sampling, and marketing campaign activities on-ground.
• Collect and share market and customer feedback.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports on distribution, sales execution, and market insights.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in field sales, trade marketing, or FMCG execution.
• Experience in the listed product categories is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising and trade promotion execution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to interpret market data and make actionable recommendations.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

•  Lead and support internal audits across departments. Identify risks, process gaps, and recommend improvements
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Prepare and present audit reports to senior management.
• Support risk assessments and annual audit planning.
• Enhance internal controls and efficiency through collaboration.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounts, Finance, or Economics.
• CPA-K / ACCA; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Membership with IIA or ISA (added advantage).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Internal Audit, ideally in FMCG.
• Experience in auditing through Computerized systems and other Digital / Al based tools
• Proficiency in Word & Excel.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent report writing; detail-oriented; team player.
