- Provide
first-line IT support to staff
- Troubleshoot
hardware, software, printers, and peripherals
- Support
Microsoft 365 users
- Assist
with email setup, user accounts, and access permissions
- Maintain
IT asset inventory and documentation
- Support
IT projects and system improvements

Assistant Accountant at Kenya Airfreight Handling Limited (KAHL)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate
financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with
company policies and statutory requirements. The successful candidate will play
a key role in day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the
organization’s financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process
and record financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare
and maintain accounting records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Assist
in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile
bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Support
accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare
payment vouchers, invoices, and journal entries.
- Ensure
compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain
proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support
internal and external audit processes.
- Assist
with budget preparation and financial analysis.
- Perform
any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
and Experience
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA
Part II Qualification (CPA Part III is an added advantage)
- Minimum
of 2 years’ relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency
in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong
understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge
of Kenyan tax and statutory requirements.
