About This Young Graduate Trainee Program
The 2026 Young Graduate Trainee Program is an 18-month
structured development program that provides fresh graduates with the
opportunity to launch their careers in the energy sector through comprehensive
training, real-world business experience, and leadership development.
This isn’t a typical entry-level job. You’ll participate in
cross-functional rotations across key departments including operations,
finance, marketing, procurement, supply chain, IT, legal, and commercial
functions. You’ll gain exposure to how a leading energy company operates while
building both technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
The program combines local training in Kenya with potential
regional exposure across Rubis operations in East Africa and beyond. You’ll
work on strategic projects, receive mentorship from senior leaders and industry

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements
- Upper
Second-Class Degree (or above) – Minimum 2:1 classification or
First-Class honors

graduation)
- Eligible
Disciplines: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical,
Civil, Industrial), Business Administration, Finance, Accounting,
Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Information
Technology, Legal, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum
KCSE Mean Grade: B+ – Strong secondary school performance
Age Requirement
- 26
years and below – This is a strict requirement for the graduate
trainee program
