operations in the East African region, specializing in the selling and renting
of e-bicycles and operating a fleet of last mile delivery riders. We aim to
create sustainable jobs for women and youth, and reduce the carbon footprint in
African cities. We are currently operating in Kenya and Uganda.

Your mission as a Commercial Growth Lead
You will play a critical role in growing our revenues &
bringing structure to sales processes. You will be responsible for B2B business
development, bringing in new key client accounts that adopt our e-bicycle
solutions. You will explore key sectors, including corporates, tourism,
education, agriculture, and NGOs while building long-term strategic
relationships that accelerate the adoption of electric mobility solutions.
In addition, as the Commercial Growth Lead, you will lead
and inspire a team of sales agents to drive new business development, achieve
sales targets, and expand our market presence in Kenya, and beyond. You will
develop strategies, optimize sales processes, and foster strong client
relationships, ensuring alignment with the team’s responsibilities.
Responsibilities
New business development
- Be
responsible for the generation of B2B leads whilst also guiding the team
to identify and engage corporate partners, businesses, and organizations
across different sectors.
- Support
team efforts to target industries such as corporates, tourism, education,
agriculture, NGOs and delivery services.
- Facilitate
team activities to secure at least 5 high-potential business meetings per
month.
Team leadership & development
- Coach
and mentor the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and
their individual job responsibilities.
- Develop
onboarding programs for new sales team members to integrate them
effectively.
- Establish
a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Achieve & exceed sales targets
- Develop
sales strategies to meet a monthly target of 100 electric bicycles (team
target).
- Monitor
individual and team performance to ensure at least 90% of the quarterly
sales quota is met.
- Assist
team members in closing deals by providing support during negotiations and
proposals.
Product demonstration & showcasing
- Lead
the team in conducting engaging product demos, ensuring alignment with
their target of 15 demos per month.
- Provide
coaching on effective presentation techniques tailored to diverse
industries.
- Ensure
product feedback is collected to refine sales approaches.
Build & strengthen client relationships
- Support
the team in achieving a 90% client retention rate and maintaining a
default rate below 15% for installment payment clients.
- Establish
a framework for regular client follow-ups and issue resolution within 48
hours.
- Foster
relationships that result in client referrals and positive testimonials.
Market intelligence & strategy
- Collaborate
with the team to identify at least three new business opportunities,
financing solutions, or sales partnerships monthly.
- Stay
informed of market trends and competitor activities, sharing actionable
insights with the team during weekly recaps.
Sales reporting & CRM management
- Ensure
daily updates to the CRM system and the timely submission of reports by
the team.
- Analyze
performance data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Provide
comprehensive reports to senior management with clear recommendations for
growth strategies.
Qualifications
- At
least 6 years of proven sales experience in mobility, agriculture,
education, tech, FMCG, or similar sectors.
- A
relevant and active network across MSME, corporate, tourism, education,
agriculture, or NGO sectors.
- Experience
building and leading a sales team as the company scales.
- Strong
track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong
negotiation, presentation, and excellent oral and written communication
skills.
- Independent,
proactive, and strategic thinker.
- Willingness
to do client visits with an e-bicycle.

YOUR ROLE
As an Advocacy Officer, you will play a crucial role in
supporting Ebee’s advocacy efforts, helping to build relationships with key
stakeholders and promote favorable policies for electric bicycles. This role is
ideal for a recent graduate passionate about clean mobility, sustainability,
and youth empowerment. You will work closely with the Advocacy team to
implement Ebee’s advocacy strategy, which focuses on four key pillars:
- Cycling
(infrastructure, mobility, safety)
- Climate
(carbon emission reduction, liveable cities with less congestion and
pollution)

(employment, skills development, internships)
- Women
(employment, empowerment, inclusion, skills development)

Job Summary

Accountant to drive financial accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency across

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial
Record-Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions

up to date with changes in tax regulations and advise management on
tax planning strategies.
- Liaise
with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of
financial reports.
5. Payroll Management:
- Process
payroll, ensuring accurate computation of salaries, deductions, and
statutory contributions.
- Maintain
payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company
policies.
- Reconcile
payroll-related accounts and prepare necessary reports.
6. Audit & Internal Controls:
- Support
internal and external audit processes by providing required
documentation and explanations.
- Implement
and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and
prevent financial discrepancies.

areas for process improvement and recommend strategies for enhanced
financial efficiency.
7. Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Assist
in budget preparation and monitoring, ensuring adherence to

8. Expense & Cost Management:
- Review
company expenses to ensure they are justified, approved, and within

9. Collaboration & Support:

closely with other departments to provide financial insights and
support decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA
Part II (or equivalent) required; progress toward full qualification is an
added advantage.
- 1–2
years’ hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency
in accounting systems and advanced spreadsheet use (Google Sheets /
Excel).
- Strong
knowledge of Kenyan statutory and tax compliance requirements.
