Technology Training Assistant at African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute
Purpose of the Job:
The Technology Training Assistant will provide operational,
technical, and administrative support to the Technology Training Unit, ensuring
the effective planning, coordination, delivery, and expansion of technology
training programmes.
The role will support training partnerships, end-to-end
training administration, eLearning platform management, development of new
training and academic products, proposal preparation, cybersecurity consultancy
support, project coordination, and the promotion of training activities and
services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support
planning and delivery of technology training programmes
- Manage
training partnerships and certification processes
- Support
eLearning and Learning Management System (LMS) administration
- Assist
in developing new technology training and academic programmes
- Support
proposal development and business growth initiatives
- Support
marketing and promotion of training programmes
- Provide
support for cybersecurity consultancy activities
- Coordinate
ICT projects and stakeholder engagements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s
degree in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-4
years’ experience in ICT training coordination or related roles
- Knowledge
of Cybersecurity, Al, Data Analytics & Cloud Computing
- Experience
with eLearning and Learning Management. Systems (LMS)
- Understanding
of professional ICT certification frameworks
- Strong
communication, coordination & stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office and digital collaborationtools
- Strong
multitasking, organization, and record management skills
