QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR
- Qualified
teachers with a minimum of five years teaching experience in the British
National Curriculum.
- Must
be currently teaching in a Cambridge Curriculum International School.
- Digitally
literate, life-long learners who enjoy building positive relationships
with students and are passionate about child safeguarding.
- Committed
team players who are keen to contribute to the development of our

- Willingness

- TSC
Certified Teachers.

Teaching Internship Programme

Woodcreek School, a leading international boarding school in
Kenya, invites applications from high-calibre graduates for its Secondary
School Teaching Internship Programme. This is a highly competitive opportunity
designed for aspiring teachers who are keen to develop strong classroom
practice while playing an active role in boarding life, sports and
co-curricular programmes.
The programme offers structured mentoring, meaningful
teaching experience and broad exposure to pastoral and student development in a
vibrant boarding school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting
subject teachers in the delivery of lessons in English & Literature,
Mathematics or Science subjects.
- Assisting
with lesson preparation, learning resources and classroom organisation.
- Providing
academic support to individuals and small groups of students.
- Supporting
boarding routines, evening duties and weekend activities under the
guidance of House staff.
- Assisting
with sports training, fixtures and outdoor education activities.
- Supporting
clubs, societies, trips and whole-school events.
- Contributing
to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
Essential Requirements
- A
Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in English & Literature,
Mathematics, or any Science subject.
- Strong
subject knowledge and a genuine interest in teaching and student
development.
- Willingness
to contribute fully to boarding life, sports and co-curricular activities.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- High
levels of professionalism, reliability and initiative.
- Willingness
to work some evenings and weekends as part of boarding and activity
programmes.
Additional Requirements
- Valid
KRA PIN, National ID, Bank Account Details and a recent Police Clearance
Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Registered
with TSC.
