We are a Kenya-based social enterprise with operations in Kisii, Nyamira, Bomet, and Narok Counties. Through our Kisii Smart Community (KSC) initiative and the Songa e-mobility platform, we collaborate with local and international partners to drive sustainable development.

Our work focuses on implementing sustainability solutions, leveraging clean energy technologies, designing innovative digital tools, and applying forward-thinking business models to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

About the Programme

We are excited to reopen applications for the Graduate Trainee Programme, a 3–6 month opportunity designed to kickstart your career with East African Smart Villages and Rural Mobility Limited, locally known as Kisii Smart Community and Songa Mobility.

Selected trainees will receive hands-on experience and training across the following key areas within our growing e-mobility platform:

  • Professional Drivers
  • E-mobility Technicians and Mechanics
  • Hub or Plant Operators
  • Agri-Economy Capacity Builders
  • Business Development Specialists
  • IT and Data Analysts
  • Finance and Accounting Professionals

Eligible Fields (Not Limited To)

  • Agriculture / Agri-economy
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Automotive Engineering
  • Business Development

Requirements & Application Process

  • Duration: 3 to 6 months
  • Education: University graduate
  • Skills: Demonstrated competencies relevant to business functions and value chains
  • Availability: Commitment to the full programme duration
  • Location: Willingness to work from hubs in Kisii, Narok, Nyamira, Bomet, or other designated areas
