Job Overview
Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) is seeking a Clearance
Broker to join its Facility Operations team in Nairobi. The role is
responsible for executing customs clearance and brokerage operations while
ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory
requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to
detail, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve operational issues
efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
clearance and brokerage operations in line with established procedures
- Handle
brokerage administrative services and clearance customer service
activities
- Manage
cage handling and cross-border customs clearance (face-to-face and online)
- Support
clearance regulatory, administrative, and supply chain operations
- Ensure
accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external
standards
- Identify
operational anomalies and resolve them using defined rules and procedures
- Escalate
complex issues to senior team members when required
Required Skills & Competencies
- High
level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office and general PC skills
