Finance Officer at Booch
We are seeking a Finance Officer with solid FMCG experience
to manage and strengthen our finance function. This is a mid-level management
role with a clear pathway to Finance Manager and ultimately CFO. The successful
candidate will support a small finance team, ensure strong financial
discipline, and act as deputy to the General Manager (also the current CFO) on
all finance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
the company’s financial operations including payables, receivables,
reconciliations, and customer statements.
- Prepare
and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to support
business growth.
- Implement
and enforce financial controls, ensuring compliance with statutory
requirements and accurate documentation.
- Provide
strategic financial advice and deputize for the General Manager/CFO when
required.
- Support
and mentor junior finance staff, fostering accountability, efficiency, and
continuous improvement.
- Liaise
with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders to safeguard and
grow the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA/ACCA
qualification required).
- Minimum
of 7 years’ progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in FMCG.
- Proven
managerial experience leading small teams in finance.
- Strong
background in payables, receivables, and customer account reconciliations.
- Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- High
integrity, resilience, and enthusiasm for building and growing a consumer
brand.
