We are seeking an analytical Cost Controller to manage and
monitor the hotel’s cost and inventory control systems. The role ensures cost
efficiency, accuracy in reporting and adherence to financial standards across
all departments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor
and control daily food, beverage and operational costs within approved
budgets.
- Conduct
regular inventory checks and variance analyses.
- Track
cost trends and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain
accurate records of cost transactions and support documents for audits.
- Work
with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to standardize recipes and
calculate food and beverage costs.
- Monitor
menu item profitability and suggest pricing adjustments as needed.
- Verify
supplier invoices, purchase orders and receiving procedures for accuracy.
- Prepare
detailed cost reports and analysis to support management decisions.
- Work
closely with F&B, Purchasing and Finance teams to identify and
implement cost-savings measures. Maintain up-to-date recipe and menu
costing in the MC.
Qualifications
- Diploma
or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Hospitality Management.
- CPA
Qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum
3 years’ experience in Cost Control, preferably in a 5star hotel with a
good understanding of hotel operations.
- Strong
analytical and reporting skills with keen attention to detail.
- Working
knowledge in MC, OPERA, Micros& SUN.

Receptionist
We are looking for Front Office Agent responsible for
increasing customer satisfaction by providing efficient, prompt and courteous
Front Office services connected with arriving, in-house and departing guests.
They should be able to work closely with all key business part- ners in order
to achieve quality results in guest experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcomes
and checks in guests professionally, ensuring a smooth arrival to
departure experience. Provides information about the hotel and local area.
- Allocates
rooms,issues keys,and updates guest records accurately.
- Manages
reservations and applies yield strategies to maximize revenue.
- Follows
credit procedures to minimize revenue loss.
- Coordinates
room status with housekeeping for check-ins, check-outs,and special
requests.
- Maintains
key control and communicates room availability to the Front Office Team
Leader. Responds to guest complaints using the ABC approach and escalates
when needed.
- Promotes
teamwork and communicates effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Performs duties efficiently in line with hotel policies and service
standards.
QUALIFICATIONS;
- Diploma
or bachelor’s degree in Tourism/Hotel Management or its equivalent
- 2+
years of experience, preferably in a 4-Star or 5-Star Hotel.

communication and problem-solving abilities.

Accounts Payables
Accounts Payables is the officer responsible for all
outflows leaving the hotel coffers and will assist in the production of
financial and accounting reports and ensure effective and efficient management
of financial and material resources of the organization. They are also in
charge of the property’s compliance to tax requirements in computation and
timely remitting of all taxes, levies and regulatory charges and licenses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving,
verifying, and processing invoices from vendors.
- Preparing
and executing payments to vendors according to agreed-upon terms.
Reconciling accounts payable records with vendor statements and bank
statements.
- Ensuring
compliance with company policies and procedures,as well as relevant
regulations.
- Preparing
reports on accounts payable activity,including aging reports and payment
forecasts. Maintaining positive relationships with vendors and internal
stakeholders.
- Assisting
with the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries and
reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant
degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline, from
a recognized academic institution.
- Maintain
currency of Kenya Taxation code
- Good
knowledge of SUN system & Micros Material control
- 3
years’ experience working in the Accounts/Finance Management function
within the hospitality industry.
- Solid
knowledge of MS Office,particularly Excel and Word
- CPA
(K) or ACCA certifications
