KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you will be accountable for:

Performance Management & Business Partnering

  • Ensure the operating system for performance management is active and effective within assigned execution team(s).
  • Deploy and cascade KPIs to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly meetings to embed finance in operational decision-making.
  • Use visual management systems and RCA frameworks to highlight, challenge, and improve performance levels.
  • Provide objective performance assessments and co-create improvement plans with execution leaders.
  • Stay updated on operational developments and proactively challenge performance gaps.

Business Insight & Decision Support

  • Develop a deep understanding of operational drivers and take ownership of overall business performance within scope.
  • Produce timely management reports, gap analyses, and actionable insights.
  • Support the development and validation of business cases, ensuring sound assumptions, robust financials, and post-implementation benefit tracking.
  • Partner cross-functionally to challenge assumptions, influence decision-making, and ensure business strategies are grounded in data and financial reality.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and support execution of joint productivity plans.
  • Support month-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide input and quality assurance for FP&A deliverables (Budget, RoFo, QBR, Monthly Performance).
  • Deliver accurate, relevant, and timely commentary to regional/centre stakeholders.

Community & Capability Building

  • Engage actively in the finance community, sharing best practices and leveraging global/regional insights.
  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement using analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by applying structured analysis and clear visualization techniques.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with relevant professional qualification (ACCA or CPA) preferred
  • At least 3–5 years of proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within a multinational corporation or a leading consulting environment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar) to generate actionable insights
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate effectively through ambiguity

Opportunity

  • We are currently hiring for a Direct Transport leader with a ‘digital first’ approach to customers mainly servicing our freight forwarder, traders and SME BCO customer base that prefer to engage with Maersk digitally mainly on Transported by Maersk products. This function will focus on significantly improving our asset utilization approach (whether in Ocean, Less Container Load (LCL), Air, Rail, or other assets), through both digital self-service and direct engagements with a highly competent sales organization. The Direct Transport Sales Manager will be reporting to the Area Sales Director Volume Conversion (Ocean and Logistics & Services):

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee ocean volume conversion and sales for the Freight forwarder, traders as well as SME BCO segments. Close collaboration with the Ocean Market team and Product teams to drive the focus on Ocean and Logistics and Services products in line with the company strategy.
  • Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget – both on delivering ocean & logistics and services products, growing revenue, and optimizing profits.
  • Collaboration between the Area Logistics & Services Product, Ocean, and Marketing teams in ensuring the direction setting is translated into a game plan but also advanced to a logical conclusion backed by data. Product Development and Digital Activation
  • Key contributors to further develop the Spot business and SME BCO products by taking part in global/regional experiments.

Container Structural Technician Job at Maersk Line

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations:

  • Perform Maintenance and structural Repairs on the different manufactured Refrigerated Containers which includes Star cool, Daikin, Thermoking and Carrier Containers.
  • Conduct all pre-trip inspection, minor repairs of refrigerated containers and generator sets as per standard operating procedure in place.
  • Diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.
  • The Incumbent will also implement and conform to all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Ensure close coordination with EMR team to avoid communication gaps and customer upsets that may result from poor coordination.
  • Send reports on spares movement and inventory as tasked by the Reefer Technical Supervisor.
  • Ensuring all tasks are accorded the urgency they need
  • Ensure that ONLY approved repairs in AEMS Plus are completed.

Customer:

  • Perform Reefer repairs according to Customer standards and requirements.

  • Observing and adhering to HSSE procedure in place including using appropriate working tools and personal protective equipment and conforms to Global Health and Safety Standards.
  • The successful candidate must conform to Company Health and Safety rules and Regulations.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • (IPE Factor: Knowledge) Minimum of a Certification in welding and fabrication/refrigeration/electrical/Mechanical. Diploma Preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience as a container Structural Technician
  • Extensive knowledge in refrigerated structural container repairs
  • Knowledge of container business and related functions
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative/be proactive
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with customers and service providers
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good physical condition and stamina
