Conservation Promotion Officer at Nature Kenya

We are seeking a dedicated Conservation Promotion Officer to secure vital financial resources that support our conservation initiatives. This is an entry-level position, and the successful candidate is expected to develop comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivate meaningful relationships with corporate donors, and execute targeted campaigns to attract funding from diverse sources, including individual donors, corporations, and private foundations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet organisational revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and major donors
  • Design and execute fundraising campaigns across multiple channels
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, and foundations
  • Manage donor databases and track fundraising performance metrics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Conservation, Natural Resource Management, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and fundraising
  • Deep knowledge of conservation issues and environmental challenges
  • Genuine passion for wildlife conservation and environmental protection
