Key Responsibilities
- Proposal
& Pricing Accuracy – Check proposals quoted by the sales team and
ensure all prices match supplier rates (accommodations, activities, park
fees, jeep prices, flights, supplements)
- Sales
Team Support – Act as an information center for the sales team 3. Booking
Management – Keep track of unpaid confirmed bookings 4. Itinerary Handling
– Create and amend itineraries as required
- Adjustments
– Add supplements, surcharges, or discounts where needed
- System
Update – Ensure room configuration and pricing are correctly updated in
the system.
Qualifications
- Diploma
or Degree in Tour Administration, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Hospitality,
or a related field.
- Minimum
2 years’ experience in the travel industry, particularly in reservations,
hotel bookings, or quotations.
- Strong
attention to detail with good organizational and analytical skills 4.
Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge, including payment collection
and cost verification.
- Proficiency
in reservation systems and software; knowledge of QuickBooks or similar
tools is an advantage.
- Excellent
communication skills, both oral and written.

Reservations Officer at Africa Safari Trips
Key Responsibilities
- Task
Management – Manage tasks through the company working/task platform,
ensuring timely reservations and follow-ups. 2. Flight Booking – Handle
all bookings for both domestic and international flights and trains
- System
Updates- Enter and update all booking information on the company system.
- Voucher
Management – Follow up on booking vouchers and auto- release timelines.
- Client
Requests – Ensure clients’ special requests, especially for accommodation
and room specifications, are accurate and fulfilled. 6. Guest Services –
Make provisional bookings for guests across various services
- Safari
Coordination – Brief tour leaders before safari departures.
Qualifications
- A
Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tour Consulting, Tourism
Management, Hotel Management, or Hospitality.
- At
least 2 years experience in the travel industry, particularly in
reservations and/ or hotel bookings/reservations.
- Strong
attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Great
communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficient
in reservation systems and software

Reservations and Service Quality – Internship at Africa Safari Trips
Key Responsibilities
- Task
& System Support – Assist with managing tasks and updating booking
information.
- Reservations
Assistance – Support flight, train, hotel, and guest service bookings.
- Voucher
& Payment Follow-up – Help track vouchers, timelines, and unpaid
bookings.
- Client
& Sales Support – Assist in fulfilling client requests and supporting
the sales team.
- Itinerary
& Quotations – Support in creating itineraries, checking quotations,
and ensuring supplier rates are accurate.
- Adjustments
– Help apply supplements, surcharges, or discounts. 7. Safari Coordination
– Assist in briefing tour leaders before departures.
Qualifications
- Diploma
or Degree in Tourism Management, Tour Administration, Hotel Management,
Hospitality, or a related field (students in final year may also apply).
- At
least 0-6 months of exposure or internship experience in the travel
industry, particularly in reservations or hotel bookings, is an advantage.
- Strong
attention to detail with good organizational and communication skills.
