Batch Hair Technician
Role Summary
The Batch Hair Technician is responsible for driving brand
authority and market presence through batch testing of all our hair products
and conducting market dip sticks on changing trends and needs. As part of the
hair care team, the technician will also participate in specialized salon
education and high-impact product demonstrations. Based in Kenya, this role
focuses on championing technical excellence by providing quality assurance
expertise, training professional stylists, salon partners, and internal sales
teams. The technician will serve as a key touchpoint for the hair products
ability to meet quality standards and market needs, in line with manufacturing
and brand requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality
Assurance: Ensure the product meet the quality standards as prescribed in
the Haco standard operating procedures and in line with market/consumer
expectations.
- Educational
Leadership: Design and execute the regional training calendar, including
workshops, seminars, and trade show demonstrations.
- Technical
Sales Support: Partner with the sales team to boost product sell-in and
provide technical product knowledge training to sales reps.
- Market
Intelligence: Monitor hair care trends and competitor activity to
recommend product improvements and line extensions.
- Relationship
Management: Manage technical inquiries, resolve product complaints, and
recruit new salon partners.
- Brand
Advocacy: Ensure consistent product application and brand visibility
within the professional salon environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- At
least Diploma in Hairdressing and Beauty.
- Minimum
4 years of hands-on experience as a professional stylist.
- Languages:
Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
- Advanced
hair care expertise, proficient in Microsoft Office, and strong
presentation skills.
- Strategic
thinker, highly organized, assertive, and impeccably groomed.
- Excellent
hair styling skills and ability to keep up with market trends will be an
added advantage.
Production Worker (Casual Basis)

The primary purpose of this role:
To assist in a wide variety of production tasks on need
basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform
capping, sleeving, cartoning, sealing, and packaging tasks as directed by
the Production Supervisor.
- Promptly
report any operational issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
- Strictly
adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a safety-conscious
approach in all activities.
- Maintain
a clean, organized, and safe work environment through diligent
housekeeping practices.
- Employ
safe working practices and proactively report any hazardous conditions.
- Utilize
all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Undertake
additional tasks as required to support business objectives and ensure
company goals are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- O-level/KCSE
Certification.
- A
minimum of one-year work experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Candidates
with prior experience in FMCG production processes are highly encouraged
to apply.
