Job Description
Role purpose:
The QA/QC Supervisor owns quality on the Silver Hill
Project, from design review through handover. The role ensures every material,
process, and finished element meets the approved drawings, specifications,
contract requirements, and applicable Kenyan and international standards.
The postholder builds and runs the Project Quality Plan,
leads the QA/QC team, and acts as the project’s authority on inspection,
testing, non-conformance, and quality records. The goal is zero-defect
handover, minimal rework, and full client confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality planning and systems
- Develop,
implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with ISO
9001 and the contract’s quality requirements.
- Prepare
Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, review procedures,
checklists, and quality forms for each work package.
- Define
hold and review points.
- Keep
quality procedures current as the project moves through each phase.
Quality control and inspection
- Plan
and supervise daily site inspections, testing, and verification of works
against approved drawings and specifications.
- Oversee
material approvals, receiving inspections, and sampling of materials such
as concrete, steel, aggregates, blocks, and finishes.
- Coordinate
with accredited testing laboratories and review test results (e.g.,
concrete cube strength, compaction, rebar tensile tests).
- Witness
critical activities, including foundations, concrete pours, structural
steel, waterproofing, and MEP installations and commissioning.
- Approve
or reject work and authorize release of hold points.
Non-conformance and corrective action
- Run
the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process: raise, track, investigate root
causes, and verify close-out.
- Drive
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and lessons learned across teams.
- Escalate
systemic quality risks to the project manager early, with proposed
solutions.
Audits and compliance
- Plan
and lead internal quality audits of site teams, subcontractors, and
suppliers.
- Host
and support third-party audits.
- Ensure
compliance with relevant statutory requirements, building codes, and
standards (e.g., KEBS, NCA, and county approvals, Eurocodes, or British
Standards as specified).
Supplier and subcontractor quality
- Pre-qualify
and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors on quality capability.
- Review
subcontractor quality plans and ITPs before work starts.
- Monitor
subcontractor performance and enforce quality obligations in their
contracts.
Documentation and handover
- Maintain
complete, traceable quality records: inspection requests, test
certificates, material approvals, NCRs, and calibration records.
- Manage
snagging and de-snagging, and certify completion of works.
- Compile
quality dossiers, as-built records, O&M manuals, and handover
documentation.
Leadership and reporting
- Lead,
coach, and appraise the QA/QC team; allocate inspection resources across
the site.
- Run
quality inductions, toolbox talks, and training for site staff and
subcontractors.
- Produce
weekly and monthly quality reports and present quality performance at
project meetings.
- Work
alongside the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team to embed a
culture of doing it right the first time.
Qualifications and experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s
degree in civil, structural, building,
- At
least 10 years in construction or infrastructure, with 5+ years in a
senior QA/QC role on large projects.
- Proven
experience writing and running Project Quality Plans and ITPs.
- Working
knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems; certified ISO 9001 Lead
Auditor or Internal Auditor.
- Registration
with the relevant professional body (e.g., Engineers Board of Kenya or
equivalent).
- Strong
grasp of construction materials testing and inspection methods.
Preferred
- Professional
certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), CQA, Six
Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- Experience
on mixed-use, residential, commercial, or infrastructure developments of
comparable scale.

Job Summary:
We’re a real estate developer hiring a Content Creator to
own video production end-to-end, from shooting and editing to publishing and
performance optimisation. The role spans two distinct streams: social-facing
content for our developments (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn)
and internal content for the business (health & safety videos, training,
internal comms, site updates). We need someone fast, organised, self-directed,
deeply fluent in social media, and genuinely invested in how their content
performs once it’s live.
What You’ll Do:
- Produce
social-first content for our developments — short-form vertical
videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), behind-the-scenes content, lifestyle
pieces, neighbourhood content, construction progress, and campaign content
tied to launches.
- Produce
occasional polished property and development films — we have 3
developments, so flagship tour and campaign videos are lower volume but
high quality. Expect a handful of these per quarter, often tied to
launches or milestones.
- Produce
internal video content — health and safety videos, site induction
content, training materials, internal announcements, and team comms.
Clear, well-paced, easy to follow.
- Own
the full pipeline — plan, shoot, edit, caption, publish. You’re
not waiting on anyone to tell you what to point the camera at.
- Track
performance and iterate. When a video underperforms, you identify
why — weak hook, wrong format, off audio, bad thumbnail — cut a new
version fast, and re-upload. You don’t need to be told the engagement is
low; you’re already looking at it.
- Adapt
content per platform. TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and
Facebook all reward different things. Cut accordingly.
- Stay
on top of trends across social platforms and bring fresh formats,
hooks, and audio to the team proactively.
- Build
and maintain our content library. Every shoot adds to the bank —
b-roll, establishing shots, lifestyle footage, drone, interiors — logged,
tagged, and filed so anything can be found and reused in minutes, not
hours.
- Manage
your own pipeline in Trello — cards updated daily, shooting
schedule organised, blockers flagged early, nothing sitting untouched.
- Communicate
efficiently over email and Trello, with same-day responsiveness
during working hours.
Output Expectations:
This is a delivery-focused role. The successful candidate
will consistently produce roughly:
- 6-8
short-form social videos per week across our developments’ channels,
with same-day or next-day turnaround on time-sensitive content.
- Internal
videos (H&S, training, comms) on a same-week turnaround —
typically 2–4 per month depending on business needs.
- Flagship
development films on a campaign basis — lower frequency, higher
production value, planned ahead.
- Iteration
cycles: underperforming videos identified, recut, and reloaded within
48 hours of going live.
Must-Haves:
- Native
social media fluency. You spend time on TikTok, Instagram, and
YouTube daily. You can name three trending videos this week and explain
why they work.
- Performance
mindset. You watch the analytics on your own work. When something
underperforms, your instinct is to diagnose and recut — not to move on to
the next brief.
- Self-direction
on shoots. You can walk into a development site, a show home, or
an office cold and know exactly what to capture. No shot list required.
- Versatility
across registers. You can make a TikTok hook land, then turn
around and produce a clear, calm health and safety video that an on-site
team will actually watch and absorb.
- Fast,
clean edits. You’re an editor first and a perfectionist second.
You ship.
- A
property/lifestyle eye — or the ability to develop one quickly. You
understand what buyers respond to: light, space, flow, lifestyle,

- Strong
