Sales Representative
Job role
- Conduct
daily morning market plans with the distributor to identify the daily
execution plans; ensuring daily morning presence at the distributor’s
premises before proceeding to the market.
- Conduct
client visits for existing and potential outlets in the assigned territory
in order to achieve the territory planned sales targets and ensure
sustained business growth.
- Achieve
product availability targets for the assigned territory through liaison
with the distributors in the territory.
- Enhance
product accessibility through identifying accessibility gaps and
feedforwarding to the distributor.
- Promote
product affordability on price by promoting adherence to Recommended
Retail Price (RPP) guidelines per strategic focus brand by channel and
outlet type.
- Identify,
negotiate, plan and execute activation opportunities such as promotions
with customers in line with the territory sales plan.
- Achieve
required customer visit hit rate and minimum order quantities and/ or
values in order to drive sales in volume and value.
- Establish,
develop and maintain positive business relationships with distributors and
customers.
- Supply
sales management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests,
competitive activities and potential aspects to improve sales within the
assigned Territory.
- Receive,
follow up and resolve all customer queries and complaints in collaboration
with the area management. Ensure quick resolution of customer problems and
complaints to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Prepare
and submit accurate and timely reports to the area manager to facilitate
proper planning.
- Collaborate
with the distributors to implement, supervise and improve adherence to the
minimum execution standards as defined by the market to drive growth.
- Perform
any other duties as assigned by management.
- The
position holder must be willing to relocate to reside within the assigned
market.

Quality Inspector at Proto Energy
Job role
The Quality Inspector will oversee the daily inspection of
inline processes by collecting and collating data which is used to advice the
Manufacturing/Filling teams for any Nonconformities and corrective action with
the aim of process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Analyze
all W.I.P. product samples daily for quality, durability, safety and known
product specifications before the final stage of production and record
Quality inspection results.
- To
verify the quality of raw materials, in-process and finished product
against specifications.
- Identify
and liaise with production for the segregation of non-conforming products
at the production lines then update on daily log sheets and other process
documents.
- Observe
finished goods handling and identify practices likely to cause damage to
the product.
- Inspects
transport vessels (trucks and containers) to ascertain their condition
prior to loading/stuffing with Finished goods.
- Verify
proper documentation of all products before dispatch.
- Perform
housekeeping in line with Gemba Kaizen Principles.
- Give
timely feedback on production quality inspection results and propose
improvements to the production process.
- Update
Quality Management Database e.g., SAP with inline process inspection,
incoming material inputs.
- Training
the production Team on Quality Control measures to improve product
excellence.
- Keeping
measurement equipment operates accurately by following calibration
requirements and calling for repairs.
- Monitoring
the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discarded by reporting any
that does not meet requirement.
- Updating
job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities (toolbox talks) and
regular training.
- Checking
that the assembly or production lines adhere to standards and procedures
and comply with legal requirements.
- Perform
incoming material inspection, review blueprints and specifications to
compare produced goods.
- Document
quality assurance practices by entering data into log sheets, noting
information in computer databases, and recording all inventory and
actions.
- Inspecting
output samples using companies- PROTO- Methods like comparing to
standards, measurement dimensions and examining functionalities at place –
LAB.
- Perform
any other duty as assigned by the Supervisor and Management.
Qualifications
- Technical
College Diploma, or University Technical Degree
- Three
years’ minimum experience in the same role or an equivalent combination of
education and experience.
- Knowledge
in interpretation of process data.
- Knowledge
of maintaining and calibrating Laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge
in evaluating inline inspection data and advise Manufacturing/Filling for
areas of improvement.
- Should
be able to advise Manufacturing/Filling on corrective actions measures on
defects captured.
- Physical
stamina and strength with ability to stand for long hours along process
inspection.
- Certifications:
ISO, TQMS, OSH, First Aid are added advantage.
- Licenses;
RT.
- Physical

computer knowledge.
- Certificate
of good conduct is mandatory.

Qualifications
- A
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience
in Autogas dispenser maintenance
- Experience
in equipment and plant maintenance
- Experience
in LPG installations, especially in Autogas, is an added advantage
- Experience
in other welding is an added advantage
- Knowledge
of handling welding, lifting and work at height tools and equipment
