Role Summary
The Operations Accountant is responsible for ensuring the
financial integrity and accuracy of Medical Center operations. This role
manages revenue reconciliations, petty cash, financial controls, and
branch-level reporting while supporting compliance with financial policies and
controls. Success in this role means accurate financial records, strong
internal controls, timely reporting, and effective financial partnership with
Branch Managers and Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Cash Management
- Ensure
accurate and timely reconciliation of insurance, cash, Mpesa, and card
revenues, investigate variances, and support complete and compliant
revenue reporting at branch level.
Petty Cash Management
- Manage
petty cash transactions, reconciliations, replenishments, and compliance
to support smooth daily branch operations.
Financial Controls & Risk Management
- Maintain
strong internal controls, oversee inventory and stock checks, support
audits, and identify control gaps to safeguard branch assets and prevent
financial risk.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Prepare
accurate branch-level financial reports, reconcile inventory and fixed
assets, review P&L performance with Branch Managers, and support
month-end processes.
Culture, Collaboration & Communication
- Act as
the financial liaison between branches and Head Office, communicate
financial data clearly to non-financial teams, and contribute to a
collaborative, high-performance culture.

Our Call Center Representatives play a pivotal role in maintaining smooth

addressing incoming calls from patients, ensuring excellent customer handling,
resolving issues, escalating concerns as needed, and conducting follow-up calls

Responsibilities:
- Answering
all incoming calls professionally and ensuring that callers’ issues are

experience and escalating to a Pigia Penda Provider as needed.

all paid teleconsultations to medical providers sequentially and making
follow-ups to ensure all paid patients are attended to.

a great experience for patients when they call or chat, achieving
first-time resolution and providing adequate information.

to any inquiries on Chat na Penda and transferring/escalating
medical-related chats to a Provider appropriately.

including revenues, payables, payroll, grant receipts, and capital
expenditures, and be regularly updated and shared with the Head of
Finance.
- Monitor
working capital components holistically, including trade and non-trade
receivables, grant inflows, payables, inventory and stock holding, and
analyze their impact on liquidity and operations.
- Conduct
monthly working capital analysis, highlighting variances, inefficiencies,
and missed targets across departments (e.g., delayed billing, poor
collections, excess inventory).
- Collaborate
with the Warehouse and Procurement teams to optimize inventory levels,
minimize holding costs, and reduce stock-outs or expiries.
- Optimize
cash usage and working capital, negotiating payment terms, prioritizing
pay runs, and flagging funding gaps early.
- Work
closely with the Credit Control and Treasury functions to synchronize
inflows and outflows with operational needs.
- Monitor
and advise on FX exposures, bank relationships, and payment risk
mitigation measures.
Key Qualifications, Skills & Education:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience
combining strategic insight with strong operational and technical finance
execution, ideally in roles that require leadership across core
accounting, financial controls, and cross-departmental collaboration.
- CPA(K),
ACCA or equivalent professional qualification required.
- Minimum
5-7 years’ progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years being
