Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Midwifery/Obstetrics
& Gynaecology Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate
will be responsible for providing comprehensive and high quality nursing care
to women throughout the continuum of pregnancy, labour, delivery, and postnatal
periods, as well as managing gynaecological patients. This position requires

Responsibilities
- Deliver
safe, evidence-based nursing and midwifery care to obstetric and
gynaecological patients in accordance with hospital policies and
professional standards.
- Monitor
and assess maternal and foetal well-being, detect complications early, and
take appropriate action in collaboration with the medical team.
- Support
women during labour and delivery, ensuring both physical and emotional
comfort.
- Provide
postnatal care, education, and counselling to mothers and families.
- Manage
and maintain medical equipment within the maternity and gynaecology unit,
ensuring functionality, cleanliness, and accountability.
- Document
all nursing and clinical activities accurately and promptly.
Participate actively in quality improvement, patient safety, and ISO compliance initiatives. - Supervise,
guide, and mentor junior staff and students in the department.

Qualifications & Experience
- Higher
National Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Registered
and licensed with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- Valid
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certifications.
- Minimum
of three (3) years’ relevant experience in a busy obstetrics and
gynaecology or maternity unit.
- Sound
knowledge of quality management systems and ISO certification standards.
- Strong
leadership, managerial, and supervisory abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Paediatric Nurse at Outspan Hospital
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver

- Assist

Roles and Responsibilities

Clinical Officer Oncology at Outspan Hospital
The Clinical Officer will be pivotal in triaging and
managing both new and ongoing cancer patients, coordinating services, and
supporting every step of the clinical care continuum—from history taking to
diagnosis, treatment planning, data entry, and patient support. He/she will
work hand-in-hand with the Oncologist, Oncology Nurses and other
multidisciplinary team members to deliver seamless, high-impact outpatient and
inpatient care of oncology patients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review,
triage, and follow-up on oncology patients in the Oncology Unit
- Perform
admission and discharge processes and formulate diagnostic impressions.
- Order
and interpret relevant lab tests and imaging studies
- Participate
in treatment planning, chemotherapy preparation, administration and
patient counselling
- Coordinate
day-to-day clinical workflows and assist in emergency responses
- Guide
patients on prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
- Participate
in evaluation of care and outcomes through Mortality and Morbidity
discussions, clinical incidence trends and clinical indicators
- Assist
nurses to plan and implement individual interventions for oncology
patients based on identified patient needs
- Ensure
Chemotherapy administration safety by ensuring that the whole team
understands chemo safety measures.
- Participate
in management of distressing symptoms, EOL care and bereavement support.
- Support
clinical data entry, report writing, and research activities
- Handle
medical documentation for insurance, referral purposes and other document
required by regulatory bodies.
- Designs
a plan for continuing unit-based learning and works with the nurse manager
to ensure participation of all team members
- Participate
in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) projects and Clinical Care Program
Certification (CCPC).
- Foster

Qualifications and Experience
- Registered
Clinical Officer with Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
- Higher
National Diploma in Oncology and Palliative care/ Oncology
- Current
licensure with the Clinical officers Council of Kenya. (COC)
- Certification

or certificate in Psychological counseling will be an added advantage

The Accounts Clerk is responsible for carrying out
day-to-day accounting transactions in supporting accounts receivable, accounts
payable, reconciliations, verifying receipts and deposits and producing
relevant reports as required.
