We are seeking an energetic, creative, smart, and passionate
individual to join our team as a Business Development Intern at our
retail outlet at Vipingo in Kilifi. This internship is designed to
provide hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and client
engagement, while offering exposure to the real estate and hospitality sectors.
The Business Development Intern will serve as the first
point of contact for clients at our Vipingo Market retail outlet and will
support the team in marketing and sales activities.
The intern will be responsible for driving and delivering
excellent business performance through aggressive marketing of the various
products offered at our Vipingo Market outlet. He/She will also be responsible
for marketing SHK real estate and hospitality products and conducting research
and competitor analysis.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn,

Responsibilities:
- Drive
footfall to Pazuri at Vipingo
- Market
both real estate and hospitality products offered by Superior Homes Kenya
- To
formulate sales strategies for the hospitality business and ensure we turn
a profit through commissions.
- Have a
good understanding of the coastal region both in terms of real estate
investment and the tourism business.
- To
collect quality market intelligence and advise the business accordingly.
- To map
potential customers and generate leads for the organization.
- Reviewing
footfall performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis; with the aim
of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Personally,
identify and secure new business or revenue opportunities for
the company.
- Ensure
that the shop is presentable and offer world-class services to walk in
clients.
- Ensure
brand visibility for our products through billboards and signages.
- Identify
strategic business development opportunities for the company.
- Promote
exceptional levels of service throughout the function.
- Champion
continuous improvement throughout the function.
Requirements:
- Recently
completed a Degree/ Diploma in Sales, Marketing, business , communication
or a related discipline.
- Proficiency
in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital/social
media marketing is an added advantage.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging
clients.
- Strong
interest in business development, marketing, and client relations.
- Positive
attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.

Receivables Manager at Superior Homes
We are seeking a highly motivated, honest, and dedicated
team player to effectively manage the Accounts Receivable function by ensuring
accurate billing, timely collections, debtor account reconciliation, and
adherence to financial policies. The role demands close coordination with
clients and internal departments to maintain positive cash flow, minimize
overdue accounts, and support overall financial health.
Responsibilities:
- Manage
the Accounts Receivable function to ensure timely billing, collections,
and accurate client records.
- Process
all accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies
and procedures.
- Perform
day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying,
computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data.
- Ensure
all daily receipts, including Real Estate collections, are banked on time.
- Reconcile
the accounts receivable ledger to confirm accurate posting and accounting
of all payments.
- Verify
income records, reconcile receivables, and maintain up-to-date debtor
reports.
- Follow
up with clients on outstanding payments, reminding them of obligations,
and documenting all communications.
- Work
with Sales teams and conveyancing lawyers to ensure timely execution of
Sale Agreements, Leases, and other transaction-related documents.
- Track
and guide clients under financing to avoid delays in loan processing and
drawdown.
- Answer
client queries related to their sale transactions, keeping them informed
about payment schedules and obligations.
- Communicate
regularly with other departments on matters impacting collections.
- Ensure
client accounts are accurately maintained in line with best accounting
practices.
- Generate
regular reports and statements on receivables, including ageing analysis
and status updates.
- Notify
management of collection risks, client disputes, or any issues that may
hinder receivables recovery.
- Monitor
overdue accounts and initiate appropriate collection actions, including
escalation if necessary.
- Engage
in banking duties and provide necessary support during audits or monthly
reconciliations.
- Collaborate
with the finance team to improve departmental processes and collection
efficiency.
- Ensure
daily, weekly, and periodic receivable targets and deadlines are met.
- Contribute
to the implementation of improvements in financial systems and reporting
tools.
- Perform
any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- CPA
qualification is an added advantage.
- At
least 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or credit
control.
- Solid
understanding of credit control principles and receivables lifecycle.
- Experience
with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
Staycation Supervisor Job at Superior Homes

sustainable living in East Africa. Developments under the Superior Homes brand
include Greenpark Estate in Athi River, Pazuri at Vipingo and Lake Elementaita
Mountain Lodge.
Superior
Homes owns several houses situated at Greenpark and at the Pazuri Vipingo
Estate. The houses are fully furnished to a high standard, and the gardens are
well-maintained. It has been decided to rent out the houses or the rooms in the
houses on a short-stay basis, and we are seeking to identify the services of a
suitably qualified individual or company to market, sell, collect cash, and
manage the houses.
In addition to the company-owned
houses, there will be other houses in the ‘pool’ that will be rented out for
short stays on a revenue share basis. Clients will mostly be sourced via
digital media advertising, referrals, and word of mouth. The Staycation
Supervisor (SS) will be responsible for houses at Greenpark and Pazuri.
All routes
to market will be utilised, including digital media such as Airbnb,
booking.com, Expedia, and others, and direct door-to-door selling to businesses
in the vicinity of Athiriver, Lukenya, Mombasa, and North Coast.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential target markets and
engage in direct marketing strategies to attract clients.
- Maximize the effectiveness of all
marketing efforts to ensure the highest possible levels of occupancy.
- Ensure that all clients have prepaid for
their stay prior to check-in.
- Ensure that clients do not exceed their
prepayment duration.
- Communicate effectively with both
potential clients and current clients as needed.
- Meet and greet clients, ensuring they are
settled in comfortably where possible. For instances where meet-and-greet
is not feasible, ensure smooth entry for clients.
- Discreetly provide necessary routine
support to clients as required, ensuring their needs are met.
- Be available for clients when they have
check in and during their stay, or ensure the same is arranged.
- Be present during the checkout process
when possible to ensure a smooth experience.
- Inspect properties after checkout
promptly, identifying any damages or losses.
- Arrange for cleaning and preparation of
properties for incoming clients, ensuring readiness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in driving sales and
marketing initiatives.
- Have good knowledge of marketing using
digital media.
- Have an understanding of basic business
and basic finance.
- Have a good understanding of short-term
house lets.
