Purpose
The Engineering Intern will support in executing Client
Service requests and supports the day-to-day operations of the Data Center. The
Primary focus is to support in ensuring the smooth functioning of Data Center
Operations.
Job Magnitude
Latitude: Position reports to the Area Facility
Manager. Internal contacts are with all other departments. External contacts
are with suppliers and customers.
Level of Impact: The Engineering Intern provides
(under supervision) technical, (preventative) maintenance, repairs,
installation and customer service support in order adhere to agreed SLAs with
clients and to maximise client satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operations and Compliance
- Adheres
to and upholds company safety policies, operational efficiency, and core
values.
- Provide
technical customer service support and perform operational technical
interventions for Customers.
- Assist
in the implementation of technical projects and support activities,
including setup, commissioning, decommissioning and documentation of
equipment.
- Ensure
compliance with company policies and regulations, including executing
customer request reporting and administration.
- Document
and analyze progress, issues, and outcomes, driving continuous improvement
initiatives.
- Assist
in designing Customer design pack for deployment and Liase with Area
Facility Manager and Facility Supervisor on Capacity Planning of the Data
Center.
- Monitoring
and day-to-day infrastructure surveillance and inspections via regular
site walks and monitoring the building management system.
- Monitor
Data Centre Power consumption and Customer Power consumption.
- Perform
Tool Audits and power audits and update the Area Facility Manager
- Continuously
update the Patch Manager
- Act as
a first point of contact for ESC for technical requestsand Customer
escalation in line with the escalation matrix.
- Act as
first line of response on alarms and handle or escalate alarms according
to guidelines.
- Participate
in the full continuous (24×7) call-out team
- Ensure
all work is carried out in compliance with relevant policies and
regulations including conducting risk assessments when necessary.
2. Maintenance
- Assist
in executing maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment such as
Generators and UPS as planned by the Area Facility Manager and documenting
the results.
- Document
all maintenance and repairs made on buildings and equipment in a timely
fashion.
- Monitor
and supervise repairs and maintenance executed by Contractors and
sub-contractors and document the results
- Monitor
equipment and installations to ensure adherence to technical and safety
standards
3. Customer Support and Technical Interventions
- Provides
technical customer service support and carries out operational technical
interventions requested by clients.
- Handles
Customer requests according to instructions from CIM and the Area Facility
Manager which include: Customer equipment migration through labeling,
installations, documentation, and testing,Emergency troubleshooting and
maintenance of customer infrastructure and shows leadership (reboot,
reset, handle connectivity issues) as per hands and eye requests
and Special maintenance requests (e.g. simple repairs, equipment
exchange, technical measurements)
- Ensure
proper shift handover on work progress
4. Customer Implementation Services
- Oversee
the migrations and implementation activities in accordance to the CIM
procedures.
- Responsible
for the set-up and decommissioning of Cross Connects through cabling,
installation, documentation and testing according to the decommissioning
procedure
- Supervise
installation of Customer Equipment in the data center by the Customers and
keep a complete record of the process and results
5.Health and Safety
- Adhere
and uphold all health and safety practices
- Conduct
Health and Safety Inductions on Contractors and Customers
- Report
all Site HSE incidences and near misses and follow the escalation matrix
- Oversee
Contractor services ensuring they meet the HSE standards
Additional Responsibilities
- Take
on other special projects/assignments as directed by Area Facility
Manager.
- Be an
active participant and make observations & suggestions towards the
improvement of the data center effectiveness and efficiency.
- Any
other tasks assigned by the Facility Manager or Supervisor in-charge
Hard Skills:
- Bachelor’s
in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics
Engineering or related Engineering fields.
- Minimum
0-3 years of experience in Telecommunications or electromechanical
environment or general experience in the Engineering Industry.
- Strong
troubleshooting skills and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) capability
- Skilled
in Microsoft office and Service Management applications (e.g. Excel)
- Understanding
of Engineering or electromechanical environments.
- Familiarity
with network infrastructure and measurement tools.
- Communication
skills including customer communication and handling customer requests /

The HR Administrator plays a key role in supporting the
day-to-day execution of HR operations across the organization. This role goes
beyond basic administration and requires a highly organized professional who
can manage multiple HR processes, maintain accurate records and ensure
compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Posting
approved job advertisements, maintaining recruitment trackers, screening
applications, scheduling interviews and coordinating communication between
candidates and hiring teams.
- Coordinating
onboarding processes, managing pre-employment documentation and
maintaining recruitment records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Preparing
and issuing HR documentation, including contracts, confirmation letters
and exit documentation.
- Processing
employee records in the HRIS, maintaining personnel files, coordinating
staff access and ID issuance and tracking probation confirmations and
contract renewals.
- Maintaining
HR data integrity by updating headcount and HR trackers, conducting

operations, ideally in a structured environment, with hands-on experience
in employee documentation, recruitment coordination, HR systems and
records management.
- Working
knowledge of labour legislation and statutory requirements is required.

Purpose
The Senior Site Engineer role performs infrastructure related activities to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the technical infrastructure. This is achieved through maintenance, testing and surveillance of all assets installed. The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for trouble shooting, assembly and day today scheduling of maintenance tasks. The SSE provides technical, preventative maintenance, repairs, installation and customer service support in order to adhere to agreed SLAs with our clients and to
maximize client satisfaction.

External contacts include Clients and Suppliers.Level of Impact- The role is critical in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of data center operations. The Senior Site Engineer role:
a. Ensures the stability and reliability of critical assets supporting customer equipment (availability).
b. Maintains operational efficiency and support agreed customer SLAs.
c. Coordinates maintenance tasks to mitigate unplanned maintenance and failures.
d. Contributes to maintaining a clean and organized data center environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Operations and Compliancea) Coordinate and execute equipment or system switching procedures as required, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to data center operations.
b) Contribute to the DC operating energy efficiency and implement assigned optimization measures.
c)Provide solutions for site management and adhere to SLAs agreed in customer contracts.
d) Ensure site overall appearance and cleanliness, escalating shortfalls when necessary.
e) Proactively indicate and report if SLAs are in danger of being breached.
f) Ensure all work is carried out within a 'safe system' and approved work processes, complying with best practice standards and legal requirements.
g) Lead and manage projects to identify root causes of facility issues, acting as an escalation point for more junior team members.
h) Handle technically complex and challenging situations, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for potential critical infrastructure availability.
i) Drive adherence to company safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
j) Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
k) Perform on-call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
l) Document progress, issues, and results, and implement improvement measures.

2. Maintenance and Repair Works
a) Guide junior engineers in maintenance and repairs of DC equipment and building
b) Execute maintenance and repairs of building and equipment and document it in a timely manner.
c) Manage maintenance and repair operations, including coordination of contractors.
d) Supervise contractors and suppliers installing and maintaining critical
DC equipment
e) Responsible for trouble shooting, assembly, and support the
day-to-day scheduling of Maintenance activities.
f) Act as a point of escalation for technical troubleshooting of
equipment during maintenance and repairs.
g) Make decisions with respect to maintenance and repairs tasks withing
the set operations guidelines.
3. On-call duties and Incident Management
a) Day to day site monitoring and surveillance of DC building and infrastructure.
b) Incident management in close cooperation with the supervisor in charge.
c) Support and when mandated responsible for activating and executing Emergency Operating Procedures where necessary.
d) Acts as first line of response on alarms and handle or escalate alarms according to guidelines.
4. Documentation and Reporting
a) Document progress, issues, and results to support audits and customer inquiries.
b) Report and document operational standard deviations, initiating improvement measures.
c) Record changes to data center infrastructure per change management procedures, notifying the Facility Manager.
d) Document progress, issues, and results of all assigned maintenance tasks.
e) Execute and draft MOPs and Change Requests (CR)
5. Health and Safety
The Senior Site Engineer ensures adherence to all Health and Safety Measures set out to ensure all works done at the site are safe including
but not limited to:
a) Preparation of work permits for approval by the Facility Manager
b) Adhering to four eye policy in all DC Operations
c) Preparation of Methods Operations Procedures (MOP) for Operations activities.
d)Performing Risk assessment before undertaking any operations and seeking relevant approvals
e) Preparation of Change management forms for approval by the Facility Manager.
f) Adhere to overall QHSE responsibility matrix
Additional Responsibilities
-Execute ad hoc projects as instructed, including but not limited to fire safety initiatives, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency optimization, security enhancement, compliance audits, and technology integration.-Be an active participant and make observations &
suggestions towards the improvement of the data center effectiveness and efficiency.
-Perform any other tasks assigned to them by the Facility Manager or the in-charge
Qualifications and Competencies
Hard Skills-Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and MechatronicsEngineering or related Engineering field.
-Minimum of 6 years of experience in Operations and maintenance of Electrical and/or Mechanical systems.
-Skilled in troubleshooting and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems and HVAC systems.
-Skilled in operations and maintenance of UPS, Generators, Access controls and Switch gears
-Excellent problem analysis skills
-Strong troubleshooting skills and RCA capability
-Skilled in customer communication and handling customer requests / complaints
-Skilled in service-oriented software, tasks handling and administration
-Skilled in Microsoft office and Service Management applications (e.g. Excel)
