Work on a food chain that pays the farmer properly and gets
produce to the shop before it opens.
Taimba is a small team doing unglamorous, physical, deeply
useful work: buying from farm groups at dawn, grading and packing overnight, and putting fresh produce on a
grocer’s shelf before their first customer arrives. If that sounds like your kind of problem,
we would like to hear from you.
What it is like here
- Field
first. Most roles spend real time with farm groups and in the market,
not only behind a desk.
- Small
team, wide brief. You will own more than your job title suggests.
- Numbers
matter. Waste, grade-out rates, on-time delivery, farmer payment
turnaround — we manage what we measure.
- Relationships
are the product. Farmers and retailers are not just trading partners,
but friends we happen to do business with.
