OPPORTUNITY: PROG. ASSOCIATE (Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana & Kenya)
As GrowthAfrica expands its work supporting entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship
ecosystems across Africa, we are looking for Programme Associates to join our
team in #Rwanda,
#Uganda,
and #Ghana
and #Kenya.
The role is at the centre of programme delivery. The work involves helping
ensure that entrepreneurs are identified, participants are supported,
activities are delivered, data is captured, relationships are maintained, and
that the many moving parts behind successful programmes come together
effectively.
We are looking for people who are naturally curious and pay attention to what
is happening around them. Talent who knows how to find info, connect with
others, build relationships, and make things happen.
Many of the programmes you will support, focus on women entrepreneurs operating
in communities and locations that are often overlooked. Reaching the
entrepreneurs requires initiative, curiosity, strong networks, and an interest
in understanding what is happening on the ground.

Entrepreneurship support is ultimately about people. The entrepreneurs we work
with are building businesses, creating jobs, supporting families, and
contributing to economic growth across their communities.
The role provides an opportunity to contribute directly to that work while
gaining practical experience in programme delivery, entrepreneurship support,
ecosystem development, and innovation across Africa.
You will join a team working across countries, sectors, and partners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
◽has 2–4 years of experience in programme admin. or project coordination◽enjoys working with people and building relationships
◽is organised and attentive to detail
◽has strong research skills and knows how to find info and opportunities
◽follows developments within entrepreneurship, innovation or business
◽takes initiative and does not wait to be told what needs doing
