Procurement Officer at Amiran Kenya Ltd

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Procurement planning and execution
  • Supplier sourcing, negotiation, and management
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (PCPB, KEBS, international standards)
  • Inventory monitoring and demand forecasting
  • Cost optimization and budget control
  • Import logistics and shipment coordination
  • Reporting and documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • 4-6 years procurement experience
  • Experience in agrochemicals/fertilizers or regulated products (added advantage)
  • Experience in international sourcing/importation

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Assist the procurement manager to plan,
  • source, procure, and manage the supply of agricultural chemicals and fertilizers in a cost-effective, compliant, and timely manner.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Vendor management & negotiation
  • Inventory planning & forecasting
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks
  • ERP systems (e.g., EPICOR)
  • Advanced Excel & data analysis
