KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Procurement
planning and execution
- Supplier
sourcing, negotiation, and management
- Ensure
regulatory compliance (PCPB, KEBS, international standards)
- Inventory
monitoring and demand forecasting
- Cost
optimization and budget control
- Import
logistics and shipment coordination
- Reporting
and documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s
Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration or related field
- 4-6
years procurement experience
- Experience
in agrochemicals/fertilizers or regulated products (added advantage)
- Experience
in international sourcing/importation
JOB PURPOSE:
- Assist
the procurement manager to plan,
- source,
procure, and manage the supply of agricultural chemicals and fertilizers
in a cost-effective, compliant, and timely manner.
KEY SKILLS:
- Vendor
management & negotiation
- Inventory
planning & forecasting
- Knowledge
of regulatory frameworks
- ERP
systems (e.g., EPICOR)
- Advanced
Excel & data analysis
