Key Responsibilities
- Warmly
receive and guide patients, visitors, and clients at the front office.
- Handle
inquiries, appointments, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Support
patient registration, billing inquiries, and coordination with hospital
departments.
- Maintain
confidentiality and ensure patient satisfaction through excellent service.
- Represent
the hospital’s Christian and Adventist values in all interactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma
in Customer Care, Business Administration, Front Office Operations, or
related field.
- Minimum 2
years’ experience in customer service, preferably in a hospital
or healthcare setting.
- Proficient
in computer applications and hospital management systems.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must
be a baptized and practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist
Church.

Laundry Personnel at Nairobi Adventist Hospital
Job Description
The Laundry Personnel will be responsible for ensuring
hospital linen, staff uniforms, and patient clothing are properly cleaned,
disinfected, and maintained in line with hospital standards. They
will play a vital role in infection prevention and creating a safe,
hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect,
sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hospital linen, uniforms, and patient
garments.
- Operate
and maintain laundry machines and related equipment safely.
- Ensure
proper use of detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning agents.
- Adhere
to infection prevention and control protocols in handling
contaminated linen.
- Ensure
timely delivery of clean linen to hospital departments.
- Monitor
laundry supplies and report stock needs to the supervisor.
- Report
damages, machine breakdowns, or worn-out linen.
- Perform
any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- KCSE
Certificate or equivalent.
- Certificate
in laundry services/housekeeping or relevant training (added
advantage).
- At
least 1 year of experience in laundry operations (hospital or hotel
setting preferred).
- Knowledge
of infection prevention and control (IPC) is highly desirable.
- Ability
to operate laundry machines and handle linen with care.
- Reliable,
detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must
be a committed Seventh-day Adventist.

Front Office Officer at Nairobi Adventist Hospital
Job Purpose
To provide professional front office and customer care
services by warmly welcoming patients, clients, and visitors, handling
inquiries, and ensuring efficient communication and administrative support at
the reception.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet
and receive all patients, clients, and visitors in a professional and
courteous manner.
- Manage
telephone calls promptly, direct inquiries to the right departments, and
relay accurate messages.
- Register
patients, verify personal details, and update hospital records in line
with hospital procedures.
- Guide
patients through hospital processes including consultation, admission,
billing, and discharge.
- Ensure
proper handling and filing of patient documents and maintain
confidentiality at all times.
- Manage
appointment bookings and coordinate with relevant departments for
scheduling.
- Handle
billing queries, issue receipts, and liaise with the finance/accounts team
on payments.
- Maintain
a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area that reflects the
hospital’s values.
- Resolve
client concerns or escalate them to the appropriate personnel when
necessary.
- Support
administrative duties including filing, correspondence, and data entry as
assigned.
- Uphold
the hospital’s mission of holistic, quality, and compassionate care in all
interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma
in Front Office Operations, Business Administration, Customer Service, or
related field.
- Training
in customer care and hospital management systems is an added advantage.
- At
least 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital or healthcare front
office/reception role.
- Proficiency
in computer applications (MS Office, hospital information systems).
- Must
be an Seventh-day Adventist
