About the Agency
The Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) is
a State Corporation under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation,
established by the Water Act of 2016. It oversees water development and
management in the six counties of Kenya’s Coast Region: Lamu, Tana
River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale, and Taita Taveta.
