DESCRIPTION
To manage and support the financial operations of the
medical college by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely reporting,
compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare
and maintain accurate books of accounts in line with accounting standards.
- Process
invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash.
- Manage
student fee billing, receipting, and reconciliation.
- Prepare
monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports.
- Support
budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
- Ensure
timely statutory compliance (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT, withholding tax).
- Assist
with audits and provide required documentation.
- Maintain
proper filing of financial records and supporting documents.

payroll processing in liaison with HR.
- Monitor

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA
(Part II minimum); CPA (Part III) is an added advantage.
- 2–3
years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in an academic,
healthcare, or institutional setup.
- Hands-on
experience with accounting software
