Our flagship product, Mandazi POWER, is a fortified snack

POSITION OVERVIEW:
TenX Nutrition is seeking a creative, proactive, and
digitally-savvy Content & Social Media Manager to help bring our brand
“Mandazi POWER” to life and manage our social media accounts. The role calls
for someone who can analyse best practices from other brands, build a strong
brand identity, develop enticing content, and help us grow rapidly on key
channels, particularly TikTok.
This is a task-based, short-term role, but with a real
option for permanency if things go right. It’s focused on executing our
day-to-day digital marketing strategy. You’ll play a critical role in building
a strong, engaging digital presence from the ground up. From supporting content
creation, posting schedules, and community engagement to working closely with
our internal team and external consultants, your goal will be to amplify the
voice of our flagship product, Mandazi POWER, across our key platforms.
BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring
our three-phase Social Media strategy to life: create, edit, and post
engaging short-form video and visual content daily/weekly on TikTok and
Instagram.
- Respond
to comments and DMs, cultivate meaningful relationships with followers,
and foster a brand-as-community dynamic. Actively listen for feedback and
emerging content ideas.
- Maintain
a detailed content calendar aligned to campaign phases, brand messaging,
and social media trends.
- Join
field activities to document product interactions, vendor experiences, and
community activations.
- Use
analytics tools to track reach, engagement, follower growth, and community
sentiment. Deliver weekly performance reports with
- actionable
insights and recommendations for content iteration.
- Monitor
Social Media for trends, viral formats, and content innovations. Analyze
best practice activity in similar brand categories and
- suggest
opportunities for Mandazi POWER content adaptations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated
experience and success in creating social media content content that leads
to brand growth (Tiktok, Instagram)
- Basic
video editing and design skills using mobile tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva).
- Fluent
in both English and Swahili (spoken and written).
- Strong
communication and community engagement skills.
- Self-motivated,
organized, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity
with Nairobi’s informal markets and local culture.
- Owns
quality content creation tools (ie Smartphone with a good camera, mobile
gear).

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract running for 3
months with a real option for extension and full-time engagement. We offer a

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for the right individual to grow with us
someone sharp, determined, and fast-paced, with an outgoing and proactive
mindset. This role is for someone who has a real passion for impact-related
work and wants to be part of a young, ambitious company with the potential to
become a big name in Kenya. You’ll be starting in a part-time capacity with
serious ambitions for it to grow into a full-time role-ultimately with no
ceiling on your trajectory, including the possibility to advance to Financial Manager
(or more) if the fit is perfect. You’ll work closely with the management team
to ensure accurate accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting,
while actively identifying ways to improve processes and support strategic
decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- At
least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, finance, or
bookkeeping roles.
- Solid
understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting,
reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
- Proactive
and self-directed mindset-able to identify issues and opportunities
without needing constant direction.
- Sharp,
analytical thinker with the ability to turn financial data into clear,
practical recommendations for management.
- Outgoing
and collaborative, comfortable engaging with different teams to understand
operations and support improvements.
