Internship/Apprenticeship Program at Kenya Airports Authority (KAA)

KAA runs a one (1) year internship/ apprenticeship program, which aims at exposing degree/diploma/certificate holders joining the labour market to a real work environment in order to enhance their employability by creating clear linkage between education, training and work. 

The program is open in the following stations and functions of the Authority; Head Office, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Moi International Airport (MIA), Wilson Airport (WAP), Eldoret International Airport (EIA) and Kisumu International Airport (KIA);

Requirements and Qualifications

For consideration to the internship/apprenticeship program, a candidate must have;

• Diploma/ Certificate in Civil, Building, Electrical, Electronics, Electro- Mechanical, Masonry, Plumbing, Mechanic and Carpentry;
• Relevant Degree in Finance, ICT, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Law, Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management;
• Graduated within the last two (2) years; 
• Age – Not more than 26 years (Born on or after 1^st January, 1999) and not more than 28 years (Born on or after 1^st January 1997) for those from marginalized areas, minority groups and Persons with Disabilities; and
• Recommendation/reference letter from University/ College attended.

3. Incomplete applications will not be considered
4. Beneficiaries of the internship program from any other institutions are not eligible;
5. Persons who have benefited from an Industrial Attachment at KAA are not eligible;
6.  Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
