Internship Opportunities
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is a leading social
security provider in the Retirement Benefits Sector, with a branch network
across the country.
The Fund intends to run an Internship Program for the FY
2026/2027 to enable youths gain practical, on-the-job experience for a period
of one (1) year.
This initiative is aligned with the Government Youth
Initiative aimed at developing a pool of young talent for the Kenyan labour
market.
NSSF invites applications from suitable Kenyan
youths for internship opportunities available at its Head
Office and branches countrywide.
Basic Requirements
Suitable candidates must:
- Be in
possession of a First Degree or Diploma from an
accredited institution (must have graduated and possess the certificate)
- Be
an unemployed Kenyan youth aged between 20 and 34 years
- Have
graduated within the last five (5) years from the closing
date of the internship advertisement
- Provide
a recommendation/reference letter from the institution
attended
- NOT have
undertaken any other internship programme or gained work experience since
graduation
- Be
available for the entire internship duration (1 year)

- Be goal-oriented,
dynamic, self-driven, and diligent
- Have excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
- Be proficient
in ICT skills
- Be
a team player
Duties and Responsibilities
- Will
be assigned by respective Heads of Department/Supervisors upon
appointment
