Murang'a University of Technology (MUT) 9th Graduation 2025 [PDF Graduation Booklet]

Murang’a University of Technology (MUT) wishes to inform all candidates who have qualified for the conferment of Degrees and award of Diplomas of MUT that the University shall hold its 9^th Graduation Ceremony on Friday, 22^nd August, 2025, starting at 9.00 a.m. The Graduation Ceremony will be streamed live on our social media platforms and TV from the University Graduation Grounds. The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is as detailed below:

Confirmation of the Candidates’ Graduation Status

The list of graduands for the 9^th Graduation Ceremony will be available at the various Schools and Departments and on the University website (www.mut.ac.ke). All candidates are required to ascertain the correctness of the spelling of their names as well as the order in which they should appear in the certificates.

Graduation Fees

The mandatory graduation charges as stated in the table below must be paid not later than Friday, 8th August, 2025. Payments should be made to the University’s Bank Accounts: Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Account Number 1107198356 or Equity Bank, Account Number 0220273636188 or Cooperative Bank, Account Number 01129573999200, at any branch of the three banks countrywide.

In addition, graduands must have cleared any outstanding fees and have cleared with all relevant departments by Friday, 8th August, 2025.

Graduation Gowns

Students wishing to hire gowns for portrait purposes may request for the same by filling in the application forms and paying the requisite fees. The graduation gowns will be issued from Friday, 15^th August, 2025 up to Thursday, 21^st August, 2025 upon production of the National Identity Card. Please note: The gowns should be returned on or before Monday, 1^st September, 2025 at 5 p.m. Thereafter, a penalty of K.Shs. 500 will be charged per day.

The list of graduands for the 8th Graduation Ceremony will be available at the various Schools and Departments and on the University website (www.mut.ac.ke) from Monday, ... August, 2025. All candidates are required to ascertain the correctness of the spelling of their names as well as the order in which they should appear in the certificates before Wednesday, ... August, 2025 at 5 P.M.
